It's been awhile since I've posted on here. Things have been so busy at the office but fortunately, we have a few new workers so I don't have to be there. I got to stay home this morning and do laundry and clean a little. I never knew how wonderful it would feel to be able to stay home and clean! :) Last night was an amazing night. We went over to mom and dad's to eat dinner. Marie Chapian and Jan Silvious are staying with them right now because they are doing a workshop in Little Rock. I had heard of them but didn't really know much about them. I instantly loved them! What fun Jan Silvious is...so down to earth and funny. Marie is on fire for the Lord! Wow! That lady spoke so many blessings over all of us. It was a truly awesome experience. I was on a high while I was there. We stayed for hours just taking it all in. What an expected gift from God! I came home and looked up Marie and Jan's websites. I didn't realize that Jan spoke at the Women of Faith conference. I'm glad I didn't know...I just may have been intimidated a little, BUT I doubt it because of how down to earth she is. Anyway, I truly feel blessed to have had that experience. So much has been going on since I posted last...Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the last few months.

Kathryn came to town after Christmas to get her wisdom teeth out. It was great having her here! She is truly one of my favorite people on the planet...so much fun and a heart of gold. I love this picture because I love my two girlies that are in it with me.

I LOVE this picture...my 2 sunshines! :)

Hadoo and Mar love each other!

Mom and Dad with the grandkids.

I have lots more pictures but I've got to go finish laundry. More later!

Fast and Easy Rolo Brownie Bites

Happy Happy Friday, y'all! Some of y'all might know that back in the day I had a baking blog. And, by back in the day, I mean I started it in 2009 and my last post was in 2011. I probably should update it and keep adding to it, but I just don't bake or cook as much anymore now that our nest is empty. But, I did have so much fun with that blog. I would just bake or cook as usual but along the way I would take pictures and blog about the recipes. I still go back to that site and get recipes. I send my kids and friends there when they are wanting a certain recipe, too. It's so easy to just send them a link. I'm all about fast and easy recipes! One of my favorite super easy "go to" recipes are these super yummy and easy brownie bites. I first blogged about these in 2009 here but thought I would add the yummy recipe to this blog, too.  Ingredients: Brownie Mix (I use the Duncan Hines 13x9 family size). Rolo's (they now have them unwrapped) WOOHO...

Show us where you live Friday.....the Kitchen

Most of you probably read Kelly's blog . She is so much fun! Well, she is hosting a "Show us where you Live Friday" and this week is the kitchen edition. I am excited about this because I absolutely LOVE looking at houses and decor....it's so much fun and can really show someones personality. I just love to see how others express themselves through decorating. While I really do love my kitchen, it is the room I am looking forward to redoing the very most. My future plans are to take down the wallpaper and paint, paint the ceiling, redo the cabinets (probably really dark wood), paint the island black, take down the florescent light fixture above the island and replace with something a little more up to date, and replace the curtains. I think the previous owners did a great job decorating it but I would rather it be more my personality. I spend A LOT of time in my kitchen and I really enjoy it!! When my mom and dad moved, they gave me their big round table that seats...
Mar and I didn't go to church this morning. :( We hate to miss. We woke up about 8:30, talked a little bit, prayed a little bit and then the next thing we know, it's 10:30!!! We must have really needed the sleep. We leave for church at 10:40 so there was no way we were going to make it. It felt wonderful to sleep in, though. We can alway watch the service on the Internet. After Rosie got home from church, we went and picked her up and took her to Wendy's to eat (we all really wanted Franke's but it was packed...at 1:45!) and then we headed to Party City where I got plates for Bunco (it's at my house on Thursday) and then we went to Garden Ridge and got a fake plant and a chair (for $99). The chair we were going to get was WAY more than that and a lot prettier but the one at Garden Ridge did the job fine and with no guilt for spending too much money on a beautiful chair. It is SO MUCH FUN to shop with Rosie...SO MUCH FUN!!! I hate to shop without her because she make...
