L.O.V.E

I love everything and everyone in these pictures...hence the title.  I LOVE Bunco, I LOVE Rosy Love, I LOVE Maggie Moos, I LOVE Bravo, and I LOVE my friends and family.
I love that I got a Bunco!! YAY!! :) This is me and my Bunco friend, Carole.
I love that 2 of my sisters are in Bunco with me.  Here's one of my sister's, Shanny, with sweet Jennifer.
I love laughter!!! Funniest moment of the night.
I love Tracy and Jennnifer.  It's a BLING NATIVITY!!!
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
I love that Rosy and I had a playdate and I took her to Maggie Moo's for lunch....YES, for lunch!! When I first told her, she said, "Dessert first!" because I'm always telling her that when she's with me she can always have dessert first.  In the car on the way home she said, "I wonder how many other people in the world had ice cream for lunch today? I bet nobody!!!"  She is my precious sunshine that brightens my world!
I love Rosy sitting in my lap while I play with her hair.  After Maggies Moo's, we came home and watched the Biggest Loser on Hulu. We don't watch TV at all....we might at well not have one. We don't even have our TV hooked up and don't have cable but I LOVE the Biggest Loser and have been watching this season.  Rosy watched it with me and had the funniest comments.
I love my parents long time friends, Judy and Joe Edwards.  They came to town for their nephew's wedding and stayed with mom and dad. I have known them my whole life.  Their daughter, Piper, was one of my closest friends growing up.
I love Bravo where we all ate.... they have great dipping sauce for the bread. :)
I love being around the Edwards....they've been married for a long time and are so cute and fun to watch.

Fast and Easy Rolo Brownie Bites

Happy Happy Friday, y'all! Some of y'all might know that back in the day I had a baking blog. And, by back in the day, I mean I started it in 2009 and my last post was in 2011. I probably should update it and keep adding to it, but I just don't bake or cook as much anymore now that our nest is empty. But, I did have so much fun with that blog. I would just bake or cook as usual but along the way I would take pictures and blog about the recipes. I still go back to that site and get recipes. I send my kids and friends there when they are wanting a certain recipe, too. It's so easy to just send them a link. I'm all about fast and easy recipes! One of my favorite super easy "go to" recipes are these super yummy and easy brownie bites. I first blogged about these in 2009 here but thought I would add the yummy recipe to this blog, too.  Ingredients: Brownie Mix (I use the Duncan Hines 13x9 family size). Rolo's (they now have them unwrapped) WOOHO...

Show us where you live Friday.....the Kitchen

Most of you probably read Kelly's blog . She is so much fun! Well, she is hosting a "Show us where you Live Friday" and this week is the kitchen edition. I am excited about this because I absolutely LOVE looking at houses and decor....it's so much fun and can really show someones personality. I just love to see how others express themselves through decorating. While I really do love my kitchen, it is the room I am looking forward to redoing the very most. My future plans are to take down the wallpaper and paint, paint the ceiling, redo the cabinets (probably really dark wood), paint the island black, take down the florescent light fixture above the island and replace with something a little more up to date, and replace the curtains. I think the previous owners did a great job decorating it but I would rather it be more my personality. I spend A LOT of time in my kitchen and I really enjoy it!! When my mom and dad moved, they gave me their big round table that seats...

Christmas Decorations

I am so behind on my blog, once again. I have so much to write about......Thanksgiving, the Turkey Trot, the Granny Walk, Marcifest, the LSU/HOG game, etc.  It was all wonderful! I don't want to leave all of that out.  I'll go back and catch up or at least I think I will.  One thing I learned way back in the day when I was scrapbooking was that if I got behind to just start where I was instead of backtracking. Otherwise, it was just too overwhelming. So, I'm starting with right now and right now, I'm decorating for Christmas.  I LOVE Christmas...the music, the atmosphere, and most especially, the celebration of Christ's birth. I got a pretty swag for my door and wanted garland to match. I have a wonderful friend, Hope, who is an incredibly talented decorator and she volunteered to make the garland for me.  We went shopping together and she knew exactly what to buy and came to my house and put it all together.  She did a great job! I love my door!!...
