Posting from iPad app

Just testing this app to see if it works on my iPad. I think I'll blog more if I can do it on my phone or iPad.
I've discovered the Draw Something game and it is so much fun! It makes me laugh every time I play it!!!
We got Reggie a new bed. He loves it! He sleeps in it in every way possible, including upside down! HA! HA!
I got the new Pioneer Woman cookbook. She has my favorite recipes and her cookbooks are always so much fun!
We just had Mar's office repainted and decided to change up a few things like pillows, etc. to update it a little.
My niece, Madie, drew this painting above. Yep, she's pretty amazing!!!!! Both her parents are artists so she definitely got that gene!
Macy is at the beach right now for Spring Break. She went with a few of her friends. They drove 16 hours!! They are staying in a timeshare for free. Oh, how I wish I were at the beach!!!! I'm craving the ocean and the sand in between my toes.
My new pink purse I got on eBay. I'm on a pink craze right now! :)I love the white braided belt and it has "feet" on the bottom. Once you have feet on the bottom of your purse, it's hard to go back to no feet.
I've been painting Macy's room. I love the color! It makes me happy. It's called Glass Slipper by Benjamin Moore. Her room used to be a dark brown color. I'm getting rid of her fan, too, and getting new furniture. I'm painting her bathroom tomorrow. It's a deep red right now. It's going to look a lot better in a lighter color.

I cut my own hair last week. It was driving me crazy! I just stuck it on top of my head in a pony tail and cut a few inches. Then I put it in a lower ponytail and cut a few more inches. I didn't learn a lot of wholesome things from reading Seventeen magazine while growing up but I did pick up a few useful tips along the way. :) I LOVE beautiful long thick hair but my hair becomes all strings once it gets to a certain length and I have to cut it. I'm thinking about getting a few more inches cut off. We'll see.

I had a play date with my Sunshine last week. She brightens up my life so much!!!! She has the sweetest heart! We went to Target, Mar's office, and then back home to try Just Dance Kids. Then I straightened her hair. :) I got her the fairy dolls that are in the picture with her. I got her a cute dress, too. She's my sweet little almost 6 year old BFF!!!!! :)

I made monster cookies a few days ago and ate way too many of them!!!! They are so so good!! I don't need to be making them again anytime soon!!!

Isn't this tree pretty by our house?! I LOVE the spring so much but I could do without the pollen! I am every kind of decongestant possible and still having problems. I'm on prescription Flonase, too.

Ok, well, the app works! Good to know! Maybe I'll blog more now! I'm about to go walk Two Rivers with some of my sweet friends! I'm excited! I love to exercise with friends!!! I just took my Flonase and Claritin so hopefully I'll survive the pollen! :)

More later!!!

Fast and Easy Rolo Brownie Bites

Happy Happy Friday, y'all! Some of y'all might know that back in the day I had a baking blog. And, by back in the day, I mean I started it in 2009 and my last post was in 2011. I probably should update it and keep adding to it, but I just don't bake or cook as much anymore now that our nest is empty. But, I did have so much fun with that blog. I would just bake or cook as usual but along the way I would take pictures and blog about the recipes. I still go back to that site and get recipes. I send my kids and friends there when they are wanting a certain recipe, too. It's so easy to just send them a link. I'm all about fast and easy recipes! One of my favorite super easy "go to" recipes are these super yummy and easy brownie bites. I first blogged about these in 2009 here but thought I would add the yummy recipe to this blog, too.  Ingredients: Brownie Mix (I use the Duncan Hines 13x9 family size). Rolo's (they now have them unwrapped) WOOHO...

Show us where you live Friday.....the Kitchen

Most of you probably read Kelly's blog . She is so much fun! Well, she is hosting a "Show us where you Live Friday" and this week is the kitchen edition. I am excited about this because I absolutely LOVE looking at houses and decor....it's so much fun and can really show someones personality. I just love to see how others express themselves through decorating. While I really do love my kitchen, it is the room I am looking forward to redoing the very most. My future plans are to take down the wallpaper and paint, paint the ceiling, redo the cabinets (probably really dark wood), paint the island black, take down the florescent light fixture above the island and replace with something a little more up to date, and replace the curtains. I think the previous owners did a great job decorating it but I would rather it be more my personality. I spend A LOT of time in my kitchen and I really enjoy it!! When my mom and dad moved, they gave me their big round table that seats...
Mar and I didn't go to church this morning. :( We hate to miss. We woke up about 8:30, talked a little bit, prayed a little bit and then the next thing we know, it's 10:30!!! We must have really needed the sleep. We leave for church at 10:40 so there was no way we were going to make it. It felt wonderful to sleep in, though. We can alway watch the service on the Internet. After Rosie got home from church, we went and picked her up and took her to Wendy's to eat (we all really wanted Franke's but it was packed...at 1:45!) and then we headed to Party City where I got plates for Bunco (it's at my house on Thursday) and then we went to Garden Ridge and got a fake plant and a chair (for $99). The chair we were going to get was WAY more than that and a lot prettier but the one at Garden Ridge did the job fine and with no guilt for spending too much money on a beautiful chair. It is SO MUCH FUN to shop with Rosie...SO MUCH FUN!!! I hate to shop without her because she make...
