I love this picture! Macy is so funny with her pet raccoon. This is her with Asa and Josiah before church last week on Halloween. They also went trick or treating for about 30 minutes to get candy. :) Smart kids!
We went trick or treating with Rosie and it was wonderful! She was a chicken!!! HA!!! :) She didn't want a princess because it was too itchy. I held her almost the whole time. It was just wonderful! I love that little sunshine so much!

My arms were really sore the next day but it was so worth it! After the LSU game Saturday night, Lamar and I were on cloud 9 because little Love insisted on a kiss and hug before she left. It was the first time she has done that. She looked at Lamar and said, "kiss" and kissed and hugged him and then came to me and did the same thing. She had a bad cold and her nose was running but I had to kiss that sweet baby girl anyway. If I get a cold, it's definitely worth it!!!

I gotta boogie! Lamar just went to pull a tooth which means his assistant is with him and no longer at the front desk so I gotta get up there quick. More later!

Happy Happy Friday, y'all! Some of y'all might know that back in the day I had a baking blog. And, by back in the day, I mean I started it in 2009 and my last post was in 2011. I probably should update it and keep adding to it, but I just don't bake or cook as much anymore now that our nest is empty. But, I did have so much fun with that blog. Show us where you live Friday.....the Kitchen

Most of you probably read Kelly's blog . She is so much fun! Well, she is hosting a "Show us where you Live Friday" and this week is the kitchen edition. I am excited about this because I absolutely LOVE looking at houses and decor....it's so much fun and can really show someones personality. I just love to see how others express themselves through decorating. While I really do love my kitchen, it is the room I am looking forward to redoing the very most. My future plans are to take down the wallpaper and paint, paint the ceiling, redo the cabinets (probably really dark wood), paint the island black, take down the florescent light fixture above the island and replace with something a little more up to date, and replace the curtains. I think the previous owners did a great job decorating it but I would rather it be more my personality. I spend A LOT of time in my kitchen and I really enjoy it!! When my mom and dad moved, they gave me their big round table that seats...

Christmas Decorations

I am so behind on my blog, once again. I have so much to write about......Thanksgiving, the Turkey Trot, the Granny Walk, Marcifest, the LSU/HOG game, etc.  It was all wonderful! I don't want to leave all of that out.  I'll go back and catch up or at least I think I will.  One thing I learned way back in the day when I was scrapbooking was that if I got behind to just start where I was instead of backtracking. Otherwise, it was just too overwhelming. So, I'm starting with right now and right now, I'm decorating for Christmas.  I LOVE Christmas...the music, the atmosphere, and most especially, the celebration of Christ's birth. I got a pretty swag for my door and wanted garland to match. I have a wonderful friend, Hope, who is an incredibly talented decorator and she volunteered to make the garland for me.  We went shopping together and she knew exactly what to buy and came to my house and put it all together.  She did a great job! I love my door!!...
