I wrote this yesterday:
I just got back from sculpt class. Wow! That was one hard class! I was actually laughing at the end because it was humorous how hard it was. I asked one of our zumba intstructors what she did other than zumba (because her body is amazing) and she said sculpt class so Hannah and I decided we'd start adding that class to our workouts. Well, I can now see why my zumba instructor has such an amazing body. If anyone can get through that class and do it on a regular basis, there is no way NOT to have a sculpted body. Everyone was saying how sore I was going to be tomorrow....I'm already sore....matter of fact, I was sore in the middle of class! After about killing us with doing leg squats along with arm weights and then having us put weights behind our knees to do doggy kicks, our teacher said, "Okay, now let's get down and do 15 push ups!". HA! :) I really was laughing at this point. Will I go back, though? Why, yes, of course! :)
2 of my favorite people in the world were in town this weekend...Marci and Kathryn! :) Kathryn has to have the biggest heart of anyone I know. She's a great example to others of how to love uncondtionally. She is just one special girl and loves people to pieces.

Rosebud, Mar, Hadoo, and Kat

When Hannah was taking the picture above, she said, "one, two, three" and then tooted real loud...like a finale or something. Anyway, she took this picture as we were laughing. I have 3 really close people in my life that think tooting is hilarious and have no problem whatsoever tooting out loud in front of people. I, on the other hand, do not understand this. I would absolutely die of embarrasment.

Marci is so much fun and super encouraging. She is always positive and LOYAL to the core, which I totally love and appreciate. Here she is on the far right with Pug, me, Mar, Kathryn, and Macy. This is in mom's new kitchen.

Okay, this was so funny! I looked over at my dad and he was trying to take a picture with my new camera (which I'm not very happy with...there are white dots on most of my pictures) and the viewfinder is facing him. He looked so confused and then snapped away! This picture was the result.

After he realized what happened, he took another picture of himself laughing hysterically about it. It really was so funny!
We had a great weekend with family. I'll write more later when I get my other pictures on here. Hope everyone is fabulous!!!

Fast and Easy Rolo Brownie Bites

Happy Happy Friday, y'all! Some of y'all might know that back in the day I had a baking blog. And, by back in the day, I mean I started it in 2009 and my last post was in 2011. I probably should update it and keep adding to it, but I just don't bake or cook as much anymore now that our nest is empty. But, I did have so much fun with that blog. I would just bake or cook as usual but along the way I would take pictures and blog about the recipes. I still go back to that site and get recipes. I send my kids and friends there when they are wanting a certain recipe, too. It's so easy to just send them a link. I'm all about fast and easy recipes! One of my favorite super easy "go to" recipes are these super yummy and easy brownie bites. I first blogged about these in 2009 here but thought I would add the yummy recipe to this blog, too.  Ingredients: Brownie Mix (I use the Duncan Hines 13x9 family size). Rolo's (they now have them unwrapped) WOOHO...

Show us where you live Friday.....the Kitchen

Most of you probably read Kelly's blog . She is so much fun! Well, she is hosting a "Show us where you Live Friday" and this week is the kitchen edition. I am excited about this because I absolutely LOVE looking at houses and decor....it's so much fun and can really show someones personality. I just love to see how others express themselves through decorating. While I really do love my kitchen, it is the room I am looking forward to redoing the very most. My future plans are to take down the wallpaper and paint, paint the ceiling, redo the cabinets (probably really dark wood), paint the island black, take down the florescent light fixture above the island and replace with something a little more up to date, and replace the curtains. I think the previous owners did a great job decorating it but I would rather it be more my personality. I spend A LOT of time in my kitchen and I really enjoy it!! When my mom and dad moved, they gave me their big round table that seats...

Christmas Decorations

I am so behind on my blog, once again. I have so much to write about......Thanksgiving, the Turkey Trot, the Granny Walk, Marcifest, the LSU/HOG game, etc.  It was all wonderful! I don't want to leave all of that out.  I'll go back and catch up or at least I think I will.  One thing I learned way back in the day when I was scrapbooking was that if I got behind to just start where I was instead of backtracking. Otherwise, it was just too overwhelming. So, I'm starting with right now and right now, I'm decorating for Christmas.  I LOVE Christmas...the music, the atmosphere, and most especially, the celebration of Christ's birth. I got a pretty swag for my door and wanted garland to match. I have a wonderful friend, Hope, who is an incredibly talented decorator and she volunteered to make the garland for me.  We went shopping together and she knew exactly what to buy and came to my house and put it all together.  She did a great job! I love my door!!...
