I'm sitting here waiting to hear from Lamar. He usually calls in the afternoon and he hasn't today. :( I'm sure he's just busy with patients. I went to Cabot this morning with the family to see Granny. We went to Dixie Cafe afterwards and celebrated Hall's birthday. Rosie sat in my lap which always feel so good. I sure do love that baby girl! What a joy she is! I got me some cute polka dotted flip flops in Cabot at a store next to where Granny stays called Sisters. They were on sale so I got them in red and hot pink. Rosie was so funny...she wanted me to try on these hot pink flip flops with clear bands that had pink rhinestones all over them. She got them down for me and kept telling me to put them on. When I finally did, she said,"thanks!". She LOVES fashion and she loves pink! Those flip flops were so ugly, though! :) Hannah and Rosie rode in the car with me home from Cabot. Rosie watched Strawberry Shortcake. After I dropped them off at mom's, I went and took back a pillow to Linens n Things and took back some things back to Wal-Mart. I was glad to get that out of the way. Then I went to Academy to try and find some shorts for working out. My body is weird so I have trouble with that. I think I found some, though. Yesterday, Hannah and I tried out a Power Pump class. It was hard!!! The whole class you are working with a bar bell. We worked abs, quads, hamstrings, triceps, biceps, back, shoulders, etc. I'm really sore today. I only did zumba once this week....Monday. I usually have done it 3 times by Thursday. I don't know when I'll be able to do it again...maybe Saturday. Oh well. I thought spending time with family today was more important than zumba. :)

I love this baby girl! She is my bright spot!

I love this picture of Sabrina, Marci, and Shanny! HA! This is at Sheldon and Sabrina's medspa...SkinStar.

Fast and Easy Rolo Brownie Bites

Happy Happy Friday, y'all! Some of y'all might know that back in the day I had a baking blog. And, by back in the day, I mean I started it in 2009 and my last post was in 2011. I probably should update it and keep adding to it, but I just don't bake or cook as much anymore now that our nest is empty. But, I did have so much fun with that blog. I would just bake or cook as usual but along the way I would take pictures and blog about the recipes. I still go back to that site and get recipes. I send my kids and friends there when they are wanting a certain recipe, too. It's so easy to just send them a link. I'm all about fast and easy recipes! One of my favorite super easy "go to" recipes are these super yummy and easy brownie bites. I first blogged about these in 2009 here but thought I would add the yummy recipe to this blog, too.  Ingredients: Brownie Mix (I use the Duncan Hines 13x9 family size). Rolo's (they now have them unwrapped) WOOHO...

Show us where you live Friday.....the Kitchen

Most of you probably read Kelly's blog . She is so much fun! Well, she is hosting a "Show us where you Live Friday" and this week is the kitchen edition. I am excited about this because I absolutely LOVE looking at houses and decor....it's so much fun and can really show someones personality. I just love to see how others express themselves through decorating. While I really do love my kitchen, it is the room I am looking forward to redoing the very most. My future plans are to take down the wallpaper and paint, paint the ceiling, redo the cabinets (probably really dark wood), paint the island black, take down the florescent light fixture above the island and replace with something a little more up to date, and replace the curtains. I think the previous owners did a great job decorating it but I would rather it be more my personality. I spend A LOT of time in my kitchen and I really enjoy it!! When my mom and dad moved, they gave me their big round table that seats...
Mar and I didn't go to church this morning. :( We hate to miss. We woke up about 8:30, talked a little bit, prayed a little bit and then the next thing we know, it's 10:30!!! We must have really needed the sleep. We leave for church at 10:40 so there was no way we were going to make it. It felt wonderful to sleep in, though. We can alway watch the service on the Internet. After Rosie got home from church, we went and picked her up and took her to Wendy's to eat (we all really wanted Franke's but it was packed...at 1:45!) and then we headed to Party City where I got plates for Bunco (it's at my house on Thursday) and then we went to Garden Ridge and got a fake plant and a chair (for $99). The chair we were going to get was WAY more than that and a lot prettier but the one at Garden Ridge did the job fine and with no guilt for spending too much money on a beautiful chair. It is SO MUCH FUN to shop with Rosie...SO MUCH FUN!!! I hate to shop without her because she make...
