Is anybody else having trouble updating the latest update for the iPhone? I have tried to update it 3 times and it gets stuck on backup.  I googled it and it seems to be a common problem.  I am planning on getting the iPhone 4 so I'm not too worried about it.  I LOVE the iPhone I have. I have had it for 1 1/2 years and have dropped it so much and there's not even a scratch on it.  This one has been so wonderful that I'm a little nervous to get another one...but I've heard the iPhone 4 is the bomb and I'm eligible for an upgrade, so I'm going to get it!! :) I will LOVE the camera with a flash and 5 megapixels! I will also like being able to put my apps in different folders.  My iPhone doesn't have video on it so I know I'll love that, too! I'm excited! :)

Mar and Rosebud playing with Play-Doh. HA! :) Aren't they cute?! Rosy calls Mar, Mar-e-doodle.  I don't know where she came up with it but it's so cute! I sure do love that precious angel baby!

Little Banner....isn't he so precious?! Love that little man! I'm wearing scrubs because I've been working at Lamar's office every other Friday. I am also working there tomorrow because his front desk lady will be gone. I'll assist him while his regular assistant works the front desk.

I went and saw Toy Story 3 with Macy and her friends and her friends parents.  Mar didn't come because he had a meeting.  Chris was SO excited!! It was funny! He left the next morning for a mission trip in another country...I think Ethopia.  Chris is dating Taylor and they are an adorable couple who really love the Lord. They are also Macy's best friends and are so good to her.

CHRIS TOMLIN!!! I love him!!! We went to his concert and loved it, as usual. I was thinking that I have seen him 3 times in the last year.  He's our favorite! Toby Mac was there with him but we left after Chris sang. I heard Toby Mac was great! We should have stayed but Mar and I aren't big concert people so we just left.  We really enjoyed the worship of Chris Tomlin, though, and never miss a chance to see him.

Fast and Easy Rolo Brownie Bites

Happy Happy Friday, y'all! Some of y'all might know that back in the day I had a baking blog. And, by back in the day, I mean I started it in 2009 and my last post was in 2011. I probably should update it and keep adding to it, but I just don't bake or cook as much anymore now that our nest is empty. But, I did have so much fun with that blog. I would just bake or cook as usual but along the way I would take pictures and blog about the recipes. I still go back to that site and get recipes. I send my kids and friends there when they are wanting a certain recipe, too. It's so easy to just send them a link. I'm all about fast and easy recipes! One of my favorite super easy "go to" recipes are these super yummy and easy brownie bites. I first blogged about these in 2009 here but thought I would add the yummy recipe to this blog, too.  Ingredients: Brownie Mix (I use the Duncan Hines 13x9 family size). Rolo's (they now have them unwrapped) WOOHO...

Bye Bye 80's kitchen!!

Well, my kitchen is mostly finished!! It's completely painted!! I am so excited to have a brighter updated kitchen.  It just feels completely different.  I'm not completely finished but here's what I've got for now.   The cabinet color is Benjamin Moore Linen White and the walls are Benjamin Moore clay beige. I'm so glad to see the florescent oak square light gone!! I replaced it with chandeliers I got at a flea market!! :) We also hired an electrician to put more canned lighting in because after the florescent square was gone, we needed more lighting. I painted 48 cabinets and drawers and the body of the cabinets (don't know what the official name for that is) and was so burned out by the time I finished the island that my sweet husband suggested we hire a painter to paint the rest for me! I am SOOOO glad he did!!!!  See the faith, truth, love window frame beside the pantry door? Well, my super talented sister-in-law, Sabrin...
Mar and I didn't go to church this morning. :( We hate to miss. We woke up about 8:30, talked a little bit, prayed a little bit and then the next thing we know, it's 10:30!!! We must have really needed the sleep. We leave for church at 10:40 so there was no way we were going to make it. It felt wonderful to sleep in, though. We can alway watch the service on the Internet. After Rosie got home from church, we went and picked her up and took her to Wendy's to eat (we all really wanted Franke's but it was packed...at 1:45!) and then we headed to Party City where I got plates for Bunco (it's at my house on Thursday) and then we went to Garden Ridge and got a fake plant and a chair (for $99). The chair we were going to get was WAY more than that and a lot prettier but the one at Garden Ridge did the job fine and with no guilt for spending too much money on a beautiful chair. It is SO MUCH FUN to shop with Rosie...SO MUCH FUN!!! I hate to shop without her because she make...
