Fam at Mom's

Some of the fam came into town for Emily's wedding and stayed with mom and dad.  We all ate dinner over there.  It was fun to see everyone!
Ban fell asleep on Mar, which Mar loves.
We miss Holly and her family living in LR. Here Ooey is with Holly and Annie Marie.
Oh my goodness, I found out through a Facebook friend that it was National Chocolate Day and had to celebrate!!! Holly and I with cupcakes!!! YUM!
Ban with Braley. He loved her!
Rosy loves her cousins, Annie Marie and Allie Grace.  They are all so cute and sweet and they play great together.
I gave Rosy her first cookie and I gave Ban his first cookie, too! :) He can't really eat it but he mouthed it. :)
Look at that FACE!!! TOO cute!!!!!!
I sure do love my honey!!!
I straightened Rosy's hair for her Halloween parade the next day....she was Alice in Wonderland and wanted straight hair like Alice.
Precious angel!!!
Rosy was hilarious about her straight hair. She said she had straight hair like Ellie and Kathryn.  Later she said me and her were twins with our straight hair. She kept swishing her hair around.  It was SO cute! She told me that she wished her hair was always straight and that she had to be careful not to get her hair wet or it may get curly again.  I asked her why she thought God made her with curly hair and she said, "Well, he thought I'd be more beautiful with curly hair but He also made me to want straight hair!" HA! :) Cutie pie! :)

Fast and Easy Rolo Brownie Bites

Happy Happy Friday, y'all! Some of y'all might know that back in the day I had a baking blog. And, by back in the day, I mean I started it in 2009 and my last post was in 2011. I probably should update it and keep adding to it, but I just don't bake or cook as much anymore now that our nest is empty. But, I did have so much fun with that blog. I would just bake or cook as usual but along the way I would take pictures and blog about the recipes. I still go back to that site and get recipes. I send my kids and friends there when they are wanting a certain recipe, too. It's so easy to just send them a link. I'm all about fast and easy recipes! One of my favorite super easy "go to" recipes are these super yummy and easy brownie bites. I first blogged about these in 2009 here but thought I would add the yummy recipe to this blog, too.  Ingredients: Brownie Mix (I use the Duncan Hines 13x9 family size). Rolo's (they now have them unwrapped) WOOHO...

Dresser Redo

I've been so bad at blogging in the past few years. I blog so I can remember. I painted a set of chest of drawers a few years ago in our other house and I loved the result. The only problem is I didn't blog about it so I have no record of what I did to it. I have no idea what red paint color I used. I thought I had it written on FB but I have searched and searched and I can't find anywhere where I wrote the paint color so now I have this wonderful red chest of drawers and have no idea what the color is. I didn't want that to happen again so I am making sure that I write about the chest of drawers in our master bedroom that I recently painted.  Here is the piece of furniture before Sorry about me in my robe in the mirror. LOL! I really wanted to lighten this up so I decided I would paint it white. I LOVE white and thought it would be great SO I used this chalk paint that I got at Michael's. I had already used it on my coffee table and thought it would be f...

Nashville Trip

Once again, it has been SO long since I have done a blog post. I think with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and all the other social media, I get overwhelmed. I haven't posted a Facebook album in so long, though, so I really wanted to start blogging again to be able to remember! This might be my last post for 2 years again, though! LOL! We will see. We took a business trip last weekend to Nashville (first time to ever go to Nashville) and it was so fun because on this business trip, Macy and Kevin got to come with us! I haven't written on here yet about it, but Kevin is now working for the same company Lamar works for and we are just THRILLED about it!!!  Our weekend trip actually started on a Thursday. The morning started with my first visit to the ER ever but more about that in another post. I was okay and am so so thankful for my precious dad who took me there and we got to bypass the waiting room. I have continued to be blessed by my Dad and his love for the Lord and oth...
