Happy Halloween!!!

These pictures are out of order but it is not easy for me to move my pictures on here once they are uploaded so I'm just going to leave them out of order.  I'm just trying to catch up fast.
Our church had our first Fall Fest ever and it was a huge hit! Macy looked so cute! A mustard clown. HA! :) She found the costume at the Davidson's and just threw it together.  I just threw on a cat headband to be a little bit in the spirit.
Mom threw on her blonde wig. :) Rosy was Alice and Selah was a princess.
Sweet cousins.
McKayla and Emma.
Dad was helping at a booth and looked down at the box and it was a pregnancy test box, which is funny because he's an OBGYN.  And, the Davidson's just happened to be right there which made it even funnier because they have TEN kids!! :)
At mom's with sweet Alice in Wonderland before going to Fall Fest (out of order pix).
May May with her two mama's.  :)
Mom, me, May, Clarissa, and Kara. Selah told Macy that she wanted her to take her costume off so Macy did.
Hannah was a hippy.  Justin wore a funny mustache that looked like the mustache he really had a couple of years ago.  HA! :)
Spidey came and gave Alice a big hug!
May put her costume back on.  Her she is with Tigger.  Isn't the sunset pretty?
Mar and Hadoo.
Again, out of order.....before we went to Fall Fest.
After Fall Fast, we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood, which is super crowded on Halloween. It's lots of fun, too.
Mar carried Ban around all night, which he loved.
Cutie!!!
Alice with all her loot!!! :)
Another out of order picture.  As we were leaving my house to go trick-or-treating, we looked across the street and there was our nephew, Cannon, with his friend, Will.  I was like, "Cannon, is that YOU?" It was funny to see him and Will when we weren't expecting it.  He didn't even know that was my house that he was in front of! HA! :)
Alice and Tiggs with their candy. :)

Fast and Easy Rolo Brownie Bites

Happy Happy Friday, y'all! Some of y'all might know that back in the day I had a baking blog. And, by back in the day, I mean I started it in 2009 and my last post was in 2011. I probably should update it and keep adding to it, but I just don't bake or cook as much anymore now that our nest is empty. But, I did have so much fun with that blog. I would just bake or cook as usual but along the way I would take pictures and blog about the recipes. I still go back to that site and get recipes. I send my kids and friends there when they are wanting a certain recipe, too. It's so easy to just send them a link. I'm all about fast and easy recipes! One of my favorite super easy "go to" recipes are these super yummy and easy brownie bites. I first blogged about these in 2009 here but thought I would add the yummy recipe to this blog, too.  Ingredients: Brownie Mix (I use the Duncan Hines 13x9 family size). Rolo's (they now have them unwrapped) WOOHO...

Show us where you live Friday.....the Kitchen

Most of you probably read Kelly's blog . She is so much fun! Well, she is hosting a "Show us where you Live Friday" and this week is the kitchen edition. I am excited about this because I absolutely LOVE looking at houses and decor....it's so much fun and can really show someones personality. I just love to see how others express themselves through decorating. While I really do love my kitchen, it is the room I am looking forward to redoing the very most. My future plans are to take down the wallpaper and paint, paint the ceiling, redo the cabinets (probably really dark wood), paint the island black, take down the florescent light fixture above the island and replace with something a little more up to date, and replace the curtains. I think the previous owners did a great job decorating it but I would rather it be more my personality. I spend A LOT of time in my kitchen and I really enjoy it!! When my mom and dad moved, they gave me their big round table that seats...

Christmas Decorations

I am so behind on my blog, once again. I have so much to write about......Thanksgiving, the Turkey Trot, the Granny Walk, Marcifest, the LSU/HOG game, etc.  It was all wonderful! I don't want to leave all of that out.  I'll go back and catch up or at least I think I will.  One thing I learned way back in the day when I was scrapbooking was that if I got behind to just start where I was instead of backtracking. Otherwise, it was just too overwhelming. So, I'm starting with right now and right now, I'm decorating for Christmas.  I LOVE Christmas...the music, the atmosphere, and most especially, the celebration of Christ's birth. I got a pretty swag for my door and wanted garland to match. I have a wonderful friend, Hope, who is an incredibly talented decorator and she volunteered to make the garland for me.  We went shopping together and she knew exactly what to buy and came to my house and put it all together.  She did a great job! I love my door!!...
