Hipstamatic App

I am loving the Hipstamatic app!!! It's so much fun! Here are some pictures taken with it:
Just playing around with the app trying to learn how to work it. This is not the best picture but I thought it  was cute of Charlie Bear.
 
It was gorgeous outside this weekend!! It was 77 degrees yesterday! Just beautiful!! We went to Pinnacle both Friday and Saturday.  It was great!!  Of course, there's a winter weather advisory for Tuesday.  Crazy weather! :) What a wonderful gift to have such unseasonably warm weather, though. 
I think Macy's boof on her head is cute! :) I would do that with my hair if I had thick hair like she does.
 
We headed over to mom and dad's after Pinnacle on Friday and got to spend time with our little sweeties! :)

Yesterday, Mar got me pretty pink tulips at Whole Foods. :) We both LOVE tulips!! I love looking at the frog balloon and pretty tulips Mar got me every time I look at the island in the kitchen. Makes me feel loved and happy. :)

Fast and Easy Rolo Brownie Bites

Happy Happy Friday, y'all! Some of y'all might know that back in the day I had a baking blog. And, by back in the day, I mean I started it in 2009 and my last post was in 2011. I probably should update it and keep adding to it, but I just don't bake or cook as much anymore now that our nest is empty. But, I did have so much fun with that blog. I would just bake or cook as usual but along the way I would take pictures and blog about the recipes. I still go back to that site and get recipes. Show us where you live Friday.....the Kitchen

Most of you probably read Kelly's blog . She is so much fun! Well, she is hosting a "Show us where you Live Friday" and this week is the kitchen edition. I am excited about this because I absolutely LOVE looking at houses and decor....it's so much fun and can really show someones personality. I just love to see how others express themselves through decorating. While I really do love my kitchen, it is the room I am looking forward to redoing the very most. My future plans are to take down the wallpaper and paint, paint the ceiling, redo the cabinets (probably really dark wood), paint the island black, take down the florescent light fixture above the island and replace with something a little more up to date, and replace the curtains. I think the previous owners did a great job decorating it but I would rather it be more my personality. I spend A LOT of time in my kitchen and I really enjoy it!! When my mom and dad moved, they gave me their big round table that seats...

Christmas Decorations

I am so behind on my blog, once again. I have so much to write about......Thanksgiving, the Turkey Trot, the Granny Walk, Marcifest, the LSU/HOG game, etc.  It was all wonderful! I don't want to leave all of that out.  I'll go back and catch up or at least I think I will.  One thing I learned way back in the day when I was scrapbooking was that if I got behind to just start where I was instead of backtracking. Otherwise, it was just too overwhelming. So, I'm starting with right now and right now, I'm decorating for Christmas.  I LOVE Christmas...the music, the atmosphere, and most especially, the celebration of Christ's birth. I got a pretty swag for my door and wanted garland to match. I have a wonderful friend, Hope, who is an incredibly talented decorator and she volunteered to make the garland for me.  We went shopping together and she knew exactly what to buy and came to my house and put it all together.  She did a great job! I love my door!!...
