A God Hug!!

God did the sweetest thing for Hannah and I one night on our way home from LG. We have both been sick. Anyone who knows me well knows that I am directionally challenged. :) I use my Garmin app for everything. As Hannah and I were sitting in my car about to leave LG, I pushed "Go home" on my app and followed the directions. Hannah was with me and we were just talking. All of the sudden, we realized that we were no longer on the city streets. It was dark and the houses were few and far between. There were no street lights.  Hannah said at one point, "I'm a little scared" and I told her not to be scared. I told her that Jesus loves us and that He was healing us from head to toe and that by His stripes we are healed (she has fibromyalgia and is in pain a lot, too) :( I told her that He was watching out after us and we didn't need to be afraid. I kept going to where the Garmin told me (at this point I was curious). It said our destination was ahead so I kept...

Angela Thomas

Last night and this morning, we had our church women's retreat and Angela Thomas was the speaker. I have never heard her speak before and she was a pure delight! She was just ADORABLE!! Her accent was adorable...she talked like Dolly Parton and she was just so much fun! So open and real. I laughed and cried. Such a delight! My mom was so sweet to get tickets for Hannah and me. We got there early enough Friday night to get good seats and eat yummy dessert. My mom made one of the cakes.....chocolate mocha cake. It was DELICIOUS!! There were also some GREAT mini cupcakes with cream cheese icing. My dinner consisted of solid sugar and was great! :) We met my dad's office partner's wife, Nana, there and sat with her. She is such a sweet person. We also met up with our old across the street neighbor (her family bought my sister friend's house across the street), Ellianna McCray. She was so cute and I want her wardrobe!! Here is a picture of all of us. We sat on the second row...

Lee Lee's Birthday...El Chico style! :)

Last night, we went to El Chico to celebrate my sweet friend, Lee Lee's birthday. She loves El Chico. The only one left standing in LR is in SWLR, so Hannah met me at my house and we headed to pick up Lee Lee to go to SWLR El Chico. Hanny had on a new pretty white sweater. She is moving in 3 months and I am so sad! I am going to miss her so much. She is excited about going and starting a new beginning but I am really sad. I am going to miss her at LG, at prayer group, at Bunco, and on the weekends. I will miss our drives and talks to North Little Rock. And, will I ever miss Rosy and Moo! I am trying not to think about it. I've been having an IC flare for 6 months and can't do as much as I could. I have been so sad because I haven't had near as many Rosy playdates. But, I think God planned it that way because I see her less than I used to which will make them leaving easier on both of us. I still see her every week but not daily. I am going to feel a great void when...
