And we're on our way back home.....

*I wrote this last night (on Word) on the 18th but am just posting it.  I’m on our flight right now home back to LR (our flight is only 1 hr. 35 minutes non-stop…now that’s my kind of flight). Our stewardess was SO funny doing her little demonstration. Mar and I laughed the whole time and then “woo-hoo’d” at the end and clapped! She was adorable! She reminded me of Kathryn if she were a stewardess.   We told her afterward how much we loved her performance and she said she loves to entertain people. Mar and I were the only people who cheered! People probably think we’re so obnoxious!  This has been a fun day.   We woke up early, as usual, but it was the best night of sleep we had all week.   I love having a lot of time to get ready in the morning….just no rushing. I can get up, spend as much time with the Lord as I want, talk to Mar, take long showers, clean up, etc. This whole week has been this way and I want it to continue back home. We’ll see. I’m usually...

Dog Sledding/Snowmobiling...AWESOME DAY!! :)

Mar and I had a great day of dog sledding and snowmobiling in Breckenridge. This morning is was dog sledding (or I guess the official name is "mushing"). And this afternoon, it was snowmobiling. :)  We woke up early this morning to a winter wonderland! It was just GORGEOUS outside!! VERY cold and snowy.  It was nice to see Colorado in it's true form. :)  Here's our daily self timer pix. There were men standing on the slopes that thought our condo was there's.  They were about to come in! I'm so glad we came out when we did. They were really nice people, though, and are above us...they just thought our door was their door. Pretty snow and big flakes!! It was so nice to walk in powdery snow after walking on ice all week. Mar :)  We made it to Good Times Snow Adventures by 9:30 to start our dog sledding at 10:00. On the drive there, Mar spilled his water all over him. He was sitting in a big puddle.  While he was trying to dry off, we slid all over the ro...

Beautiful Breckenridge Mountains

Mar and I woke up this morning around 6:30.  I got my shot and then we talked in bed a little and I read Mar my Bible reading plans from my Bible application on my phone. I use that app all the time! I just love it!! It's the youversion app.  After that, I got up and took a shower and prayed again for Macy. I've been trying to pray for her a lot lately and it's been a real blessing to me.  I can see God moving and working.  There is a lot of power in a parent's prayer.  Then, I got a text from my sweet friend, Hope, telling Mar and I to listen to a great teaching from International House of Prayer.  We listened and it really spoke to us, especially Mar because he had been reading the exact verses the night before that they guy was talking about.  Mar was so touched, that he sobbed. I love his tender heart.  I also am so thankful to have friends like Alex and Hope who encourage us to love the Lord more and grow in Him.  We have been praying fo...
