I'm on the exercise bike again and so that means it's time to blog! It makes the time go by so much faster. I finally got Macy's bathroom painted! It went from dark red to a pretty gray/blue called Stonington Gray by Benjamin Moore. I love the color. It's the same color we used in the hallways of Lamar's office. Now I just need to fill Macy's room up. It's completely empty. It feels so much better in her room now. Cool, calm, and airy instead of dark and dreary. I have been taking Reg on my walks lately be because he's a beagle and still a puppy so he really needs an outlet to release some energy. He loves our walks and has gotten a lot easier to walk as he's gotten older. I have noticed when it's sunny and warm outside, he gets tired a lot easier. Right now I'm on the exercise bike and thought I would try blogging on my phone. I ate a ton of Hershey eggs (like half a bag) and so even though it's almost midnight, I HAD to come up here and try to burn some of those calories off! I am SOOOOOO glad Hershey eggs aren't sold year round! A bunch of people in my family went to the zoo today and I'm telling ya, it was the most gorgeous day!!! Just perfect weather! It was sunny, breezy, and 71 degrees. It was also packed!!! It rained all day yesterday and it's Spring Break for most people, so lots of people wanted to go to the zoo today. I was so glad to be able to find a parking place. I drove around for awhile before I saw someone leave. Isn't my mom's hat so cute in this pix! I love it! It makes me laugh every time I play it!!! We got Reggie a new bed. He loves it! He sleeps in it in every way possible, including upside down! HA! HA! I got the new Pioneer Woman cookbook. She has my favorite recipes and her cookbooks are always so much fun! We just had Mar's office repainted and decided to change up a few things like pillows, etc. to update it a little. Whoa, it's been over a month since I've posted!! WAY too long!!! I'm procrastinating right now which is why I'm blogging. I have Bunco at my house tonight and have to cook. :s I have been wanting to write about my first half marathon so figured now is as good a time as any. The oven can wait! :) Well, a few months ago, my friend, Amy, called me and wanted to know if I wanted to run the 1/2 marathon with her. I didn't even have to think about it! OF COURSE! I wanted to do it last year but couldn't find anyone to do it with me. I will always exercise with anyone (unless it's boot camp at 5:00 am..I like to exercise but am not crazy). :) Exercise is so much better with a friend!  I didn't know until the afternoon before the marathon that we were going to still be doing the race.
