Rosy's first haircut and Maumelle Park

On Tuesday morning, I met Hannah at Ooh La La salon to watch Banner while Rosy got her first haircut. I also wanted to be there to see Rosy get her hair cut.  Emily, my sweet beautiful cousin cuts hair there and was all ready to cut Rosy's hair for the first time.  Well it didn't go so well at first. Rosy got scared about having to wear the black cape thing and wouldn't go to the chair.  Hannah sat her in the chair and she screamed.  So, the nice lady that you see in the picture below with the blond hair was able to calm her down with a toy from back in the day.  It was one of those toys where there is a face and magnetic hair.  You can move the hair around the face with the little red pen.  Rosy LOVED it! She got it at Cracker Barrel where they sale toys from way back when.  After the lady got her calmed down, we talked Rosy into letting Emily "brush" her hair.  Here is Emily brushing Rosy's hair. I think Rosy may have thought that cutting h...

GO BRUINS!!!!

Look at these two precious cutie pies!!! I got Rosy a little PA cheerleading outfit that she can wear to school and to the games and Banner a little jersey to wear.  Adorable!  Rosy sure does love her brother...and he loves her, too.  She keeps him entertained. I love Banner's cute little laugh in this picture! Before going to see Cannon play on Monday night. We babysat the kiddos while Hannah and Justin went to a friend's visitation (more on that later). :( Sweet little family. WE LOVE THE BRUINS!!!!

Pinnacle Mountain

After we got back from NW Arkansas on Sunday, Macy came home for a little while and I climbed Pinnacle with her and her friend, Kelsie.  Kelsie had never climbed before. I always love climbing Pinnacle with people who have never seen it before and getting to see them see the view for the first time. It's so so pretty! We got up to the rocky part in 12 minutes! :) I've never gotten up there that fast because I'm always with people who need to take breaks.  This time, though, I was with Kelsie, who is a runner, so she went up it with me with no breaks.  Macy kept right up, too.  It only took us 21 minutes to get to the top, which is really good for me.  I have to say, though, that I was sore for 5 whole days!! I realized that walking/jogging does not use the same muscles that climbing a mountain uses.  I'm going to try to climb Pinnacle once a week just to get those muscles in shape.  I was SO sore all week! Pinnacle was probably the most beaut...

HOG/BAMA game

Last weekend, we headed on up to Fayetteville for the Hog/Bama game.  The drive is always so beautiful!!! Everyone thought the Hogs would be killed by Bama but we played a great game! There were SO many people at the game.  It was hard for people to find tickets.  I was thankful that Phil gave us tickets to go.  Initially, this trip was supposed to be a guy's trip but a lot of the guys didn't want to make the drive so I got to go at the last minute.  We sat in what we call Hog Heaven.  Phil has season tickets.  The atmosphere was great....red everywhere, excited people, and great weather, too! It was just a super fun game!  This was the student section an hour before the game. They are always so much fun to watch because they dance and cheer the whole time. :)  Go HOGS!!!!  This was such an exciting game. The ball was parachuted in!!! There were 3 different parachuters and they had red smoke behind them.  It was so n...

Crazy Football Love

We're reading the book Crazy Love in our Ladies Group this fall.  I read the book last summer at the pool and loved it!!! I'm really glad to be reading it again.  Crazy Love is a book that I want to read at least once a year. Cute Jill had cookies made.  Aren't they adorable?! I love it when people bring yummies! :) I love our group so much! There are a few girls missing in the picture.  I was laughing so hard that I was crying because I had just grabbed Belinda by the eyeball when I was trying to put my arm around her.  It doesn't sound funny now but at the time, it was hysterical. Poor girl! She was fine, though. Sweet Jennifer made me this adorable sign to hang on my door! Isn't it so so cute?! She is very talented! If you want one, she sells them.  :) Look how cute the bows are! :) And here it is on my front door.  Football, football, and more football.  I love it, though!!! :) We go to Maxx's games on Sundays.  Lately, it's been so pre...
Macy is babysitting tonight for a family that have a goldendoodle.  Goldendoodles are a golden retriever/poodle mix.  I am a golden retriever lover!! Charlie Bear has been the sweetest, smartest dog I have ever had.  Poodles are the #2 smartest dog and Goldens are the #4.  Goldendoodles do not shed!! That sounds wonderful to me...they are supposed to be GREAT dogs!! I also just love saying the name...goldendoodle. :) Also, since Mar and I are Mar-e-doodle and Hadoo-e-doodle, a goldendoodle would fit right in with our "Doodle" family. :) Is this not the CUTEST dog?!!! Just look at him! It's like looking at a teddy bear. I always think it's so cute when I'm leaving the house and I see Charlie Bear looking out at me through the window of the front door.  I get this message quite a bit on Words with Friends. Every now and then, though, I'll get the "sending" message and be surprised that I got points for a word that I didn't even know existed. :) My ...
