My precious LG gals!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these girls and am so thankful they are in my life!!! Great friends who are HONEST and will let you know when you're wrong and at the same time, love you so much!! We also laugh non stop!! These friends are the definition of true friends!! SO thankful God put these girls in my life! We've all been through so much together.
Wow, it's been a long time! I always want to blog but never get around to it. I have so much to catch up on...Thanksgiving especially! That's always my favorite time of year because of our big family reunion filled with fun, food, fellowship, and our family dance...which is my FAVORITE!! Hopefully, I'll get around to writing about that but for now here are my Christmas decorations. My wonderful friend, Hope, made this door garland for me last year. SOOOOOO sweet and I absolutely love it! This is the second year it's been hanging. We lost a few ornaments bringing it down but I still love it so much and it's so much fun to see from the street. I want to leave it up all year.  The Christmas season is just not near long enough!! I think it should at least be 3 months..AT LEAST!!    I rearranged my living room.  I like the layout a lot better.  The couch used to be facing the fireplace.  I just think this is warmer.  We brought the bench in f...

Bye Bye 80's kitchen!!

Well, my kitchen is mostly finished!! It's completely painted!! I am so excited to have a brighter updated kitchen.  It just feels completely different.  I'm not completely finished but here's what I've got for now.   The cabinet color is Benjamin Moore Linen White and the walls are Benjamin Moore clay beige. I'm so glad to see the florescent oak square light gone!! I replaced it with chandeliers I got at a flea market!! :) We also hired an electrician to put more canned lighting in because after the florescent square was gone, we needed more lighting. I painted 48 cabinets and drawers and the body of the cabinets (don't know what the official name for that is) and was so burned out by the time I finished the island that my sweet husband suggested we hire a painter to paint the rest for me! I am SOOOO glad he did!!!!  See the faith, truth, love window frame beside the pantry door? Well, my super talented sister-in-law, Sabrin...
I just booked mine and Macy's tickets for the Siesta Scripture Memorization Celebration and am SOOOOOO excited!! We're going to be going with super fun, sweet Nancy which will make the trip even better!! We'll also be eating at the Cheesecake Factory which in itself is enough to look forward to and Pappasitos, where I have never eaten but heard great things about! I am looking SOOOO forward to Travis Cottrell's worship! Oh, how I love that! And, hearing Beth Moore, too, of course! The whole weekend is just so exciting....fellowship, fun, friends, family, food, and siestas! YAY!! I'm SO excited! Right now, as I write this, Moo Moo and little Sunshine are in here.  Rosy is watching Veggie Tales on the laptop and Moo is playing with one of his favorite people, Mar Mar. Here's a picture of us right now. :) HA! HA! Look at Munch's face! He's so cute! He LOVES Mar!!! And, here I am with my sweeties!!! I went walking right before they got here. Matter ...

This and That

I've been working on my kitchen for awhile and am getting closer and closer to getting it finished. Here's a sneak peak.  As you can see, I still have to paint the cabinets on the island and paint the kitchen walls. I think I'm going to actually hire someone to paint the walls.  After tearing down the wallpaper, there are a few spots that need to be fixed and the ceiling needs to be repaired after taking down the old light fixture so I'd rather someone else do that.  After I finish painting the island, I will move on to the desk in the kitchen and the breakfast bar area.  I will be SO glad when it's all finished.  It already feels a million times better!!! Here's a picture before: I liked my kitchen well enough before even though it was an 80's kitchen.  It just wasn't me at all. I am just not a big oak fan and I don't like burgundy wallpaper very much but even so, my kitchen wasn't too bad before but now my kitchen is so much brighter and it...
