Here's the Africa gang at the airport last Thursday. They were all so excited! I chose to put this picture up out of the 4 I had because everyone is laughing, which really portrays the group! :) I have no idea who that man is in the front. :) I am really missing Macy!!! She is gone a lot doing social things but I still see her every day and if she's out of town, we talk and text a lot so I am really feeling her absence. I am so thankful she is where she is and is ministering to kids, though. I know she is having the time of her life and also that her life is being changed. I REALLY REALLY miss her, though!!!! There were so many people there to see the group off....it was so neat! All the FSM staff came which meant a lot. Brandon prayed with the whole group in the middle of the airport which I thought was so special and a neat witness to others. See our Africa necklaces? Aren't they cute? I love them! I am not much of a necklace person but I have worn this necklace every day...

I'm late, as usual, with Show us Where you Live Friday. These pictures are also 2 1/2 years old and were taken when we knew we were going to buy the house but hadn't moved in yet. :s Not much has changed so I thought I'd just post these because 1) I didn't want to look for all my bathroom pictures and 2) I didn't want to take pictures today because I'm too lazy to clean my bathtub and shower. :) May May in the Master Bath I really love our bathroom because it's really geared towards couples and togetherness. I love the double shower heads and the big bath with the fireplace over it. So, I was planning on going to zumba at 4:15 today but decided not to because I have to pick up Lamar at 5:00 from work (zumba doesn't get out until 5:15) and I need to vacuum my floors. Charlie Bear brings in a lot of leaves on his fur when he comes in. I have taught him how to shake his body before he comes in so that eliminates some of the leaves but it's still a problem. Instead of going to zumba, I ate some donettes (Rosie's favorite!). I've got Bunco tonight! :) I always love Bunco! Mar is going to babysit Rosie at our house and they are going to make Honey Bun cake....Rosie loves baking that cake with Mar. Macy leaves tomorrow for Africa. She'll be gone for 19 days! She is SO excited! She went and picked me up an Africa necklace that I'm going to wear while she's gone. Every time I put it on, I'm going to pray for her and her group. I'm sure I won't need a reminder to pray for them, though...my daughter is going to be in AFRICA....I...

I LOVE this outdoor furniture from Pottery Barn!!! I love the colors and I love the zebra rug. I am thinking I can copy this without having to pay so much. I saw this green and brown at Target...surely it's cheaper. Maybe they have an outdoor zebra rug at Garden Ridge or Home Depot. I'll be on the lookout! I doubt I'll be able to find the pillows anywhere other than Pottery Barn but they are on back order until June 25th. I just love this. Lamar and I got a new outdoor umbrella today at Sam's. It's one of those umbrellas that has a side pole so you have a lot more room. He's so excited and now Charlie Bear just might go underneath there if it's raining. I've been so behind on Show us Where you Live Friday's. I am putting the office, dining room, and kid's rooms on here. I am in the process of redecorating our office. It's come a LONG way already. This office was burgundy a couple of months ago with a chair rail and horrible curtains. The bookshelves have been painted and the walls. I still have to hang curtains, buy a new couch or chairs, change the fan, and put wood floors in. I was so burnt out when we finished painting everything that I've put it on hold for awhile. I will definitely get back to it, though. This desk is going on the other wall and a couch or chairs or something like that is going to go in this spot. I also cannot wait to put a rug down after we get the wood floors down. I think it will make a big difference...this room is pretty bare right now. The left side of my book shelf. I am so behind on blogging. We just got back from our 10 year anniverary vacation. We had a WONDERFUL time! It was the best vacation and much needed! I just wish we could have stayed a week longer...or maybe 2 weeks longer! :) It was just a great break with beauty surrounding us. Here are a few quick pictures. I love this man!!! I am SO blessed!!! This picture was taken on my birthday which is 2 days after our annivesary. :) We saw this gorgeous thunderstorm off in the distance.....amazing beauty! We had just watched the sunset to our left and then we turned to our right and saw this amazing storm. We were the only 2 on the beach and just sat there in each other's arms with the wind blowing and enjoyed God's spectacular show! Gorgeous sunset! Beautiful pinks and blues in the sky. AWESOME trip!!!
