Image via Wikipedia I just got back from seeing the movie, Ramona and Beezus, with Macy.  It was really cute. After the movie, I picked up Rosy Love and now she's over at my house playing beside me. I showed her the trailer of Ramona and Beezus because I thought she may like the movie. She has been talking to me for the last 20 minutes about how Ramona fell through the ceiling.  I told her it wasn't real life and she didn't have to worry about it but she's having a hard time letting it go. :) Life has been so busy this summer.  I am so ready for fall...mainly because I can't wait for  cooler temperatures.  It has been like a sauna outside which makes walking only possible for me early in the morning or later at night, which aren't the most convenient times.  Anyway, here's life lately in pictures. I surprised May with the iPhone 4.  She LOVES it!! I traded mine in at Nextworth.com.  They paid me $96.50.  I'm trading hers in, too. I was ...

Weekend with Katty Doodle :)

We had a great weekend with Kathryn.  I love getting my Katty "fix". She's always such a joy to be around.  She's just a sunshiney person that always sees the positive in every situation and every person.  Love that girl!! Here are a few of the many pictures that I took.  My favorite camera broke this weekend so I immediately went and replaced it.  I had some Best Buy cards so I didn't have to pay much.  The last one I had was hot pink (which I LOVED)...this one is baby blue, which I like a lot. On Saturday night, we went over to mom and dad's to see my cousin's newly adopted baby girl!! She is adorable!!! Her name is Tenley Addison. Isn't she adorable?! Macy was in heaven holding this baby girl! Look at these two with this precious baby. I cannot believe that I didn't get a picture of Lorna and Justin (the parents).  I've been scatterbrained lately with my picture taking. It was so much fun to have so many babies at the house! Mom is holdin...
Hannah came over a few days ago and Banner and Rosy both had on their matching LSU shirts! :) Actually, Rosy's is a shirt from OBU...they have the same colors and mascot as LSU. I happened to have on my I love Arkansas shirt. HA! :) Macy and I met Hannah, Rosy, and Banner at the mall. Banner did so good. I think he likes to shop....good thing because he was born into our family!!! :) Kathryn came to visit from Lafayette!!! YAY!!! Rosy was so excited to see her...we all were! Here she is holding Banner for the first time. We went to the Purple Cow on Cantrell (it was less crowded) last night.  They have the best vanilla malts! May, Justin (he's home for the weekend from his internship in Stuttgart), Hannah, Banny, and Katty. After Purple Cow, we went over to mom and dad's to see Jeralu, David, Jengi, Dempsey, and baby Adelyn.  Kathryn and Rosy played Strawberry Shortcake in mom and dad's room. :) Macy and Adelyn...isn't she adorable?! Justin, Jeralu, mom, an...

Happy 90th Birthday, Lamar Lane Sr.! :)

My wonderful father-in-law turned 90 on July 3rd.  Have you every seen someone that you knew instantly was a good person just because of their eyes?  The first time I met Lamar's dad, I knew instantly that he was kind because it was so obvious in his eyes.  I remember a few years ago, he printed off the ten commandments and went around to all the businesses in Rayville asking if he could hang them in their windows.  For the longest time, whenever we'd go in businesses, we would see the ten commandments and always smile.  Lamar Sr. adored his wife (Lamar Jr's mom) and has missed her ever since she passed away. They had six kids together...one girl and 5 boys!! When Lamar and I first met, we were drawn to each other really quick because we had so much in common.  One thing that we could relate to about each other was that we each came from big families....both of our parents had six kids. :) Lamar Jr. and Lamar Sr.  Love these t...
