I love it when I wake up in the morning and find a fun little surprise from Mar.  This was on my bathroom mirror this morning.  It says Hadoo-e-doodle, which is a name Rosy gave to me after she gave Mar the name Mar-e-doodle. :)  I love nicknames.  It feels weird when people who are close to me call me Heather. I very much prefer Hadoo over Heather any day...it's just more fun and nicknames mean a lot to me. :) Hadoo-e-doodle is even better! I love the man God has blessed me with.  He's not perfect and neither and I, but I'd rather have Lamar with his "stuff" than another man that has different stuff (we all have our "stuff") without all Mar's good qualities.  I am SO blessed to have a man who treats me so well.  He daily tickles my back, says, "What can I do for you?" and then does it if there is something, calls me, texts me sweet messages, etc.  He also leaves me notes, washes my hair for me (and sometimes dries it), never hangs up t...

Picture post

I haven't update in awhile and whenever I let too much time go by, there is just too much to catch up on, so I'm just going to do a picture post of the last couple of weeks.  Me and my little princess made Oreo brownies with icing for my NLR group.  "Pink out" Bruin homecoming game. :) All the football players wore hot pink socks.  I wish all football games were pink out games. All the pink everywhere made me feel so good.  It kind of felt like a carnival.  There were all different shades of pink balloons, etc. Adorable Madie with her hot pink hair bow. At Belk with Hanny, Banny, and Rosebud.  Rosy loved trying on all the hats. I went with Sabrina and Madie to take pictures of Madie before Sadie Hawkins. Here she is with some of her friends. Aren't they so pretty?! Love my sweet niece, Mads! Saw this cereal at Kroger. :) Katelind and Branson are ENGAGED!! YAY!!! :) They are so cute to watch....SO IN LOVE!!! Molly and Logan came to town for the weekend....

David Beasley

My friend, Jerra's brother, died suddenly a little over a week ago.  It was such a shock! He was only 37 years old.  He left behind a 2 year old son and a 4 month old daughter.  I remember the first time I saw David (20 years ago)...he made an impression on me for two reasons....one...he was laughing and two...he was gorgeous. :) I remember telling Heather, "THAT is Jerra's brother!" :) He was really handsome.  I didn't see him much over the years but he and his wife were in my sister's community group.  When Hannah and Justin were moving, they asked their community group for help.  Well, only one couple showed up...it was David and Sabrina.  They helped all day long and worked hard!! Mom and Dad took them to dinner that night...they were so thankful.  It made a huge impression on them.  They showed how much they cared.  I saw David this summer at Chick-fil-A with his wife and kids.  His baby daughter had just been born. David came ...

GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Whoa, I am finally caught up on this blog!!! I blogged all during the LSU game!! And, by the way,  did you SEE that game?! OH MY GOODNESS!! That ending was better than the best movie! Basically, that game had 2 endings...the first one TN won and the second ending, which is the one that mattered, LSU won!! YAY!! It was so exciting!!! I couldn't believe it.  When we thought the game ended, TN was already celebrating and the LSU fans were leaving the stadium heartbroken.  Nobody saw the flag.  All of the sudden, we look up at the TV and the game is starting again and LSU won!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!! Yesterday, Mar and I went to Maumelle Park again.  We spend lots of time there. It's just so beautiful and the breeze always seems to be blowing. We just laid there...he picked my gray hair and I read Crazy Love. It was a perfect afternoon. :) After that, we went over to mom and dad's and Banner and I were dressed alike.  I sure do love this little guy! I never knew I co...
