Picnik Premium

I've been playing with Picnik and it's SO MUCH FUN!!! I bought the year premium and it's crazy all the stuff you can do....whiten teeth, give yourself a tan, brighten eyes, change eye color, add or take away pounds, airbrush, remove wrinkles, add highlights to hair, and lots lots more! I am loving it!!! HA! :) The only thing is when you look at the before picture it's a little depressing. :s Look at my beautiful girl! I have always loved this picture and thought it would be kind of neat to put it in Lamar's office since her smile looks so pretty and he's the one that made it that way. :) She fell when she was 2 and her two front teeth went all the way up into her gums. They came back down but one tooth next to the two front teeth was damaged and discolored. Mar to the rescue!!! :) Beautiful before and after!!! This picture makes me laugh!!! I used STRONG airbrush and you can tell. HA! :) Well, I could not go to sleep last night...I just wasn't tired. I liter...
I absolutely love this picture! Hannah took it and the second I saw it, I fell in love. It is SO Rosie!!! She loves her bear so much and she really loves her pink hat and Hello Kitty rainboots. She was just playing around one day and Hannah snapped this shot. I love it and have been having fun playing around with editing it. I got the free 30 day trial of Photoshop Elements 7 and it is a gazillion times easier than Elements 4. I can play around with it and I didn't even know how to begin to play around with version 4. I am having so much fun just playing! I also got a book with pictures (thank you, Laura) that explains everything but I didn't even have to use it except for to find out how to save a jpeg file. Anyway, FUN!! I love photography...have loved it since I was 10. I just need to take a class where I will actually know what I'm doing. :) May May is gone on a new students retreat until Tuesday. I got to meet her roommate today and she is adorable and so so sw...

Playing with Photoshop Elements

I love the blogging world. I have had Photoshop Elements for a couple of years and couldn't figure it out. I did manage to put Macy's nose on me once and mine and hers...that was funny but after that I got too frustrated and removed the software from my computer. Well, I found McMama's photography lessons last night and decided to reinstall and play. I laughed so hard reading her post about blurring backgrounds...I didn't realize how funny she is because I don't read blogs a whole lot. Anyway, while I still don't understand much...like how to close a picture...I did manage to blur a background. I actually like the color better on the first one but was playing with it and couldn't get the color back to the original. :) Anyway, here is the before and after blurred background picture. See, I have a blurry background!!! I also couldn't figure out how to make the other boot not blurry but I'm sure if I play enough, I can figure it out. :) I'm SO exci...

Granny's 90

I am sitting here listening to the Lion King. Macy and her friends are in the living room watching it. There sure is some great music on that movie. Macy has been singing at the top of her lungs to every song. It's funny! Tomorrow Granny will be 90. It's hard to believe she's 90 years old. It's bittersweet. In a way, it's really neat to see someone you love live to be 90 but then again, she is not really here. She's been gone a long time now. I remember when she was first having trouble saying her words. She said she could think them but couldn't get the right words out of her mouth....that was 10 years ago. She was so frustrated about it and then would just laugh at herself. Now she just lies there and can't say a word. :( Granny was a wonderful grandmother. She always won the award for having the most grandchildren at all her reunions...she has 24 grandchildren! :) I remember Granny teaching me things like how to cross stitch and how to make angel foo...

Macy's Home!!! :)

Wow, it has been a long time since I've updated!!! Too long!!! Macy's back home from Africa and had the time of her life. I actually haven't gotten to spend much time with her since she's been home because she's been on the go so much. Her best friend from Rayville, Shelby, has been here since Monday and just left. I didn't get to see Shelby much while she was here, either. The girls were busy with friends and went to the lake yesterday. I did get to eat pizza and homemade peach ice cream with them last night. Macy and I are going to the pool today, though. YEA!!! :) I love going to the pool and it is a great place to talk!!! The picture above was taken at the airport when Macy got back from Africa. I'll have to post some of her Africa pictures in another post. I got to eat dinner with my best friend in the world, Sarah, last week. I LOVE this girl!!! Absolutely love her. We have been best friends since she was 5 and I was 6. She is one of the kindest people...

Bonus Room

This n' That

Here's the Africa gang at the airport last Thursday. They were all so excited! I chose to put this picture up out of the 4 I had because everyone is laughing, which really portrays the group! :) I have no idea who that man is in the front. :) I am really missing Macy!!! She is gone a lot doing social things but I still see her every day and if she's out of town, we talk and text a lot so I am really feeling her absence. I am so thankful she is where she is and is ministering to kids, though. I know she is having the time of her life and also that her life is being changed. I REALLY REALLY miss her, though!!!! There were so many people there to see the group off....it was so neat! All the FSM staff came which meant a lot. Brandon prayed with the whole group in the middle of the airport which I thought was so special and a neat witness to others. See our Africa necklaces? Aren't they cute? I love them! I am not much of a necklace person but I have worn this necklace every day...
