Another two months......I have so much to write about. When I look at my last post and how I was going to blog more, etc., I see that things have not been what I have expected at all. I have been sick for 7 1/2 weeks. I feel like I have missed out on a whole season. The last time I walked, it was hot, and yesterday, I SLOWLY (another change) walked and it was cold. Today has been the best day I have had and I can tell that I am healing, thank the Lord. I will write more about it later and all that God has taught me in my physical suffering.
Y'all, has it really been TWO months since I've blogged??? WOW!! I've never gone that long without blogging (that I remember). Football season is starting, though, so I'll start blogging more. I always blog when we go over to mom and dad's to watch the LSU and Razorback games. I am in the process of redoing Macy's room. It looks so much better and is so much brighter! I'll post pictures when it's all finished but I wanted to share my first Craig's List purchase. I got an antique vanity for Macy's room. It's been painted and distressed and I just love it! It's a white/robin egg blue color. Here's a picture:  The lady I got it from was so nice! She lives close by and is a make-up artist. She was a beautiful lady. I so love this dresser! I love to go in Macy's room and just lie on her bed because it feels so good in there. I still have to get a new light fixture, get a rug, and hang some curtains. Oh, and her bathroom..I need to...
I'm at my parents house watching the Hogs play in the college world series. Baseball takes a long time and can be boring at times so I brought my computer over here to blog.  This is just another random photo post from the last month. Marce came in town with her 4 girls for NINE days! It was WONDERFUL!!!  Here are all of us sisters at Shanny's house. I am SO thankful God gave me sisters! They are built in best friends for life!  My Ray Ray. I love him! This is my view when I go walking with my friends at the Big Dam Bridge. Not too shabby, huh?! People that don't live in Little Rock don't realize what a beautiful town it is. Arkansas is a gorgeous state! The first hour of driving from Fayetteville to Little Rock is as pretty as any place I've ever seen!  We added on a little bit to our deck. Mar bought these two chairs for us to sit with each other outside. They are super comfortable and SO cute!!! We moved our couch in the living room into th...

Show Us Your Life Home Tours...Kitchen

Here's my kitchen. I redid it this fall. It was a 80's kitchen with oak cabinets, burgundy wallpaper, flourescent lights, etc. It was kind of dark and I wanted a white cheery kitchen. The kitchen was fine before but it was dated and not me at all. Now I feel like the kitchen is totally fits my personality. If you want to see what the kitchen looked like before, click here . I know there's a lot of pictures on here but I didn't know which ones to put on so I just put a lot of them on. I got the little chandeliers above the island at a flea market.    I couldn't decide if I should paint and distress the wood dome so I put a picture on Facebook and asked everyone. Everybody told me to leave it so I did and I'm glad I did. It's kind of a fun wood dome. I know I have a lot of chandeliers in my kitchen but I love them. They make me feel good when I walk in the kitchen.   Here's our breakfast nook. I have a lot of fun decorating my ta...

Random iPhone pic post

Well, I'm on the exercise bike again which means I am once again blogging. :) I am also voice writing most of this. So much easier and faster! These pictures are in reverse order of the date. I'm writing this on my iPhone and so that is just the way it worked out when I put the pictures on. So here is a picture of me and my sweet friend, Ames! We have been walking together every day. I am so happy because it makes such a difference to have an exercise partner! When you have a commitment to someone you are much more likely to go because you don't want to break it. You would think by this age I would know how to peel and orange correctly! Oh well, it works for me and tasted delicious! My May May is back home for a few weeks before she goes back to Russellville. The dogs are so happy and so are we! Lamar and I went to Florida recently and while we were gone Macy watched the dogs. They stayed at her apartment and our house. Reggie had a great time doing all kinds of...
