Moving (backyard, dance room, bonus room)

So,we finally put our house on the market after thinking about it for a year...and it sold 13 days later. I sure wasn't expecting that! The new owners move in June 2nd so I have A LOT of work to do! I wanted to take pictures of all my rooms before we leave though so here are a few of them. Wish the grass was greener for the picture. It's greener now. The realtor took this.  I love this room because it's happy! It was never used though. I'll miss seeing the striped rug and polka dots. Molly is going to take the bed. She's coming to get it this week. I wanted to paint this room but didn't ever get around to it in the 7 years we were in the house! Lol! I was too busy working on the downstairs.  This was Macy's little chair she brought home from college. It's over in the cover with Sabrina's painting from the book she illustrated.  This is the realtor's picture. And here's what we call the dance room. This room has best redone twice since we liv...

Maternity jeans....SUPER FAB for an apple shape!

Mar came home from work sick yesterday. He feels much better today but is quarantined upstairs because Macy and I can't get it!! She is subbing a lot next week and Rosy and Moo are coming tomorrow so PLEASE Lord...NO SICKNESS!!! I was definitely exposed so I'm just asking the Lord to please keep me from getting it where I can spend time with my sweethearts!!! While Mar has been home sick, Macy and I have been hanging out some. We went to eat at Yaya's today for a late lunch. It turns out it was a little too late because when we got there, our only option was the dinner menu. All I wanted was a turkey sandwich and their delicious strawberry lemonade! I ended up with Mahi Mahi and Macy got some kind of steak strip that was AMAZING!!  Our waiter accidentally put in the wrong dessert order so he gave us the wrong order plus what we ordered and gave us the wrong one for free. He brought the right one out with a candle just to be fun! By the way, the wrong dessert..the souff...

iPhone dump

Well, it's been too long since I've blogged again....so I decided to do an iPhone dump (random pictures from my iPhone). Actually some are from my regular camera that were on FB that I put on my iPhone.  Anyway, here's some of the last month in and a half in pictures (they are out of order). :) Here May May is with Abby's sweet boy, Beau Matthew Higgans. In this picture he was almost 4 months old. He's adorable and about the same size of Evelyn, who is almost 9 months old. Macy housesat/babysat for the sweetest 14 and 15 year old neighborhood boys. One night, I went with them to see Walter Mitty and the electricity went out during the very last scene. The boys had already seen it and told us it was the last scene or I wouldn't have known. I did know it was close to being over. They gave us passes and Lamar and I ended up going back about a week later and literally the electricity went out during the last minute of the movie! HA! :) Oh well, it was cut...

Birthdays

May May came home yesterday for a few hours. She is not going to live in an apartment after all. She is going to be living at home. She just was too scared of the future to live in an apartment and wanted the security of home. SO, since she had already signed the lease, she had to pay A LOT of money to get out of it, even though the apartment complex had another renter that moved in the same day Macy was going to move in. It feels so wrong to me that Macy had to pay so much (you wouldn't believe if I wrote the amount) to NOT live in a place. The high justice side of me is not okay with that. She had to take most of her savings to pay that. I can understand if they didn't have another renter, but they did. I can also understand if they charged her maybe $100 but it was WAY WAY more than that. Anyway, that was an expensive lesson. They didn't lose one dime on her not living in that apartment. Makes me sad for Macy but I can't dwell on it and I don't want to complai...
