Y'all, I am so sad.  I don't know where Macy's birthday pictures are! They are gone! It's so crazy! They aren't on my computer and I've uploaded all my pictures from all my cameras (yes, I have 3). I found this awesome free program, though, that will restore your deleted pictures from your SD card!! The only problem is that Macy's birthday pictures aren't even on there.  There are 215 pictures that are there but Macy's b-day pictures aren't among them.  I have no idea what could have happened to them.  I am thrilled to have found this program, though, and thought that I'd pass the information on just in case anyone ever accidentally deletes precious pictures from a memory card.  The program is called ZAR and you can go here to get the information. It's easy to use, too.  It's hard to believe that even after I have formatted my SD card, I run this program and there are pictures that I've taken from months ago! Crazy how technology...

Lamar and I went to Big Cedar Lodge for Valentine's Day weekend. That place is SO beautiful! Some super generous and nice people gave us a $1000 gift card! YEP, ONE THOUSAND dollars! I was shocked when I opened it and so grateful!!! What a wonderful gift!!!! On the way, I ran into a little rock and got a flat tire.  We saw the rock on the way back home and saw a sign beside it that said, "Falling Rocks".  It's a good thing we had run flat tires.  We learned a thing or two about run flat tires through our flat. First, cars with run flat tires do not have a spare in the car.  Second, the reason cars with run flat tires don't carry a spare is because the owner is not allowed to put on his own tire or the warranty is null and void.  Also, run flat tires are the only type of tire allowed on the car.  You can't even buy all new tires unless they are run flat because they won't work.  The good news is that run flat tires will run on ...

  Valentine's Day has always been my favorite holiday! I just LOVE it!!! I love all the colors, the chocolate, and it being a holiday about love.  Well, Lamar and I were in a fight yesterday on Valetine's Day.  Actually, we were in a fight all weekend and are STILL in a fight.  My heart is not the same when things aren't right between us.  I REALLY tried hard to not feel sorry for myself yesterday when I got on Facebook and saw all the great things all the husbands were doing for their wives.  Driving home from Big Cedar yesterday, I started thinking about widows and how God is their husband and how they have the best husband ever. That got me thinking that God could be my Valentine. After all, He is perfect and loves me even when I'm bad.  He knows me better than I know myself and He loves me no matter what!!! Well, right about the time I started thinking that, it started snowing!! :) I thought, "WOW, a man may be able to give chocolat...

I cannot believe it....my baby girl will be 19 tomorrow!! NINETEEN!! Where did the time go??? I was 19 when I had her and now she's that age.  Tomorrow is the first birthday that I won't be with her on her actual birthday. She's away at college and I can't go see her because I'm working for Lamar.  We'll be sure and celebrate ASAP, though! I'm staying awake until 12:00 where I can be the first to with her Happy Birthday on Facebook and Mar and I will call her and sing Happy Birthday, too.  I've been looking at pictures and listening to my song to her, "I love you always forever" by Donna Lewis and thinking about how fast time goes by. My little baby has turned into a young woman and a young godly woman at that.  I am so thankful for her!!!   This was her newborn baby picture at the hospital.  It's the only picture I've ever seen of a baby SMILING!! :) SO cute!! It's Show us Your Life Friday over at Kelly's Korner. I really don't have any beauty tips but I have a lot of favorite products.  Here are just a few of the very many that I love. This is my favorite shampoo of all time! It smells GREAT and on top of that, it does my hair better than any other shampoo.  I just love it! This is my favorite smelling shampoo ever.  Occasionally they will sell it at VS and I stock up. The last time they sold it, I also bought the Pure Seduction.  It smells amazing, too! I also get the hairspray just to spray in my hair for the smell. :) This used to be my favorite lipstick ever.  Unfortunately, like most things I love, it is no longer being made.  But, the good news is I found something just like it that is just as wonderful.  Here it is:   The reason I love this lipstick so much is because once it's on, it's literally there to stay!
