Well, I just had this whole post written but then added a picture from the Blogger app on my mobile phone and now my post is gone. Oh well...I'll just write it again. Last week was the Holiday House which is my favorite! I don't really enjoy shopping all that much anymore unless it's online (it's just so much easier) but I still love shopping at the Holiday House. This year it was GREAT! So many wonderful vendors! I was planning on going on Wednesday night but I waited too late to get a ticket and they were sold out so my sweet friend, Hope, went with me on Thursday morning before the big crowds got there. It's the next best thing to Wednesday night. Hope and I went together last year, too, with Alex. He held all our bags! Next year, we are going to take Mar and Alex on Wednesday night. They can sit and talk and watch all our bags while we shop!  While we were shopping, I saw these adorable cowboy boots! I ran to them and turned them over and saw that...
Hey there! Lamar just left to go back to the office after his lunch break. I took this picture of him after he woke up from his lunch break nap (he loves those).  He's always so sweet to me. He woke up and the first thing out of his mouth was, "I love you so much. There is no way a  man can love his wife as much as I love you." He always says such sweet words to me. For awhile I didn't write about the things he does and says for me because I don't want people to think I'm bragging or saying our marriage is perfect but I always want to remember no matter what anyone else thinks. Lamar is definitely not perfect and neither am I. We have had our stuff, for sure, but he sure is sweet to me and the last 8 months have been one of our best seasons in our marriage. It was followed by one the hardest. Anyway, all that to say, Lamar is so kind to me and always encourages me and fills my tank up full with his words of affirmation and all kinds of other sweet things....

Big Dam Bridge

Yesterday morning, Mar and I woke up and did our quiet time together. I started Beth Moore's Believing God last week and love it. Mar has done some of the lessons with me. When he saw I was doing it on Sunday morning, he came in and did it with me. I painted my nails while he read the questions and wrote them in. Then, we watched church online and then headed to the Big Dam Bridge. The trees are SO gorgeous right now!!!  Mar took this picture. Look how gorgeous the trees are! LOVE! Love walking this bridge with Mar. Mar hadn't been to the new part of the bridge where it turns right towards the end. I didn't realize that. I have been a few times since they have added that part. Look how pretty it is with Pinnacle in the background. Lamar had my camera and was snapping pictures while I was taking with my iPhone. I wouldn't mind living in that house! :) They have a GREAT view!  My goodness, I love fall trees! I wasn't able to enjoy them t...
I cut my own recently. I have lost a lot of my hair again. It had just started to get thicker again (took two years to grow all the way) when I had another flare and had to have treatments that I really think makes me lose some of my hair. I had those treatments about a year ago so it's starting to get thicker at the top again. I am just super thankful that I am so much better right now. If I had to lose all my hair to get out of that pain, I would! Anyway, all that to say, I cut my hair again because I got tired of the stringiness and to make it look full at all, I had to wear extensions, which were actually super fun but time consuming and not very comfortable SOOOO I just decided to cut it. I didn't do a horrible job but decided to go to Emily (my super fabulous cousin) to even out the layers that I tried to do and to give me some highlights. I quit plucking my grays a couple of years ago (I need all the hair I can get...every single strand) and started dying it but I could...

Color Run Fun!

I LOVE the Color Run! Last year was the first year I did it and it was so much fun for a lot of reasons that speak my sanguine love language!! For one thing, you get to dress up all fun and girly with TUTU's!!! It's not often that a grown woman can get away with that. Also, you get fun colors sprayed all over you during the run/walk. You also can also dance through the 5K which I'm all about. There are cute happy signs everywhere and at the end there is a finish line party where they throw color and everyone dances. I just LOVE it!!! I was trying to figure out my outfit and decided to wear this. :) I got the colorful tights and fun sunglasses and necklace at Party City. All ready to go the morning of the Color Run. I ended up not wearing the fluffy leg warmers and changing my tank to blue. I also got a different tutu when I checked in the day before. The one from last year was TINY and uncomfortable! I also didn't wear the necklace. I was just kinda tired wh...
