I got this new layout for my blog. I think it's so cute! I don't know how to add things over on the right hand side, though. I don't blog much on blogger anyway but I have a lot of people that I have fun reading. I LOVE Beth Moore's blog. Macy has a softball game at 5:00. I've got to go get ready. I've been at home all day doing laundry. I have decided to not go up to the office anymore...it stresses me out too bad and I don't have any energy at the end of the day to give to Lamar and May. Anyway, Macy only has 2 more games of the season. Her last one is on Thursday. :( It's hard to believe that next year she'll be a Senior! How did that happen?! Where did the time go?! Hannah and little Love are coming tomorrow! I'm thrilled! I sure do love that baby!!! We're having a birthday party for her on Saturday! Can't wait! Okay, I have lots to write but no time so more later!
Hannah and Rosie just left. :( It was a great week with them. That Rosie Love is so so precious! We took her to the zoo and she loved the Merry Go Round. It was her favorite last time, too. We also took her to her first movie. It was our first movie in over a year....Horton Hears a Who. It was so cute! Rosie did something funny the other day...she had a "potent" (dirty diaper) and she walked real funny into the kitchen crying for me. She said, "Hadoo wants to change potent". HA! Oh gosh! So, mom offered to change her, dad offered to change her, and Hannah offered to change her...she would have none of it...only her Hadoo could change her potent! So, off I went to change the potent. I only gagged twice. :s The things we do for love! :) I thought it was really sweet, though, that she kept saying, "Hadoo wants to change potent!" and very funny! Macy had Junior prom last night. She went with Josiah. She looked beautiful! Mar and Rosie sat in the car and watch...
I had 2 root canals yesterday. Whoa, quite an experience. It was my 3rd root canal on one of my teeth. I didn't even know 3 root canals could be done on one tooth! Anyway, the endodontist was really nice and he did find a perforation and he filled it with MTA. There is a 50% chance that this tooth will survive. He also did a root canal on the tooth next to it. He sent me away with cookies, tons of pens, and chapstick. I will be refering him to our patients for sure. He's also a LSU grad. I have learned through this whole dental experience that Lamar really is the best dentist around. He's so gentle and I've never ever felt any pain with him while he's doing a procedure. No wonder everyone loves him so much. Macy's first softball game of the season is this afternoon and so is Pug's baptism. I am hoping to go to a hour of Macy's game and then to Pug's baptism where I can get at least a little of Macy's game. I know she'll do great. ...
It snowed today! It was in the 70's last weekend and absolutely beautiful and today it snowed! Wow! The snow was beautiful, though, and how wonderful to have an unexpected day off of work. Lamar and I were in and out of sleep all morning....just wonderful! I was thinking last night when I was up in the middle of the night (which is a regular occurrence for me) what Lamar and I are missing, or actually NOT missing, by not watching TV. We cancelled our cable a little over a year ago and just don't watch anything at all. We used to be TV junkies. :) We watched everything . We would race home from the store or my parents house just where we wouldn't miss our latest show. We remedied that by getting DVR . This allowed us to be able to go out and about without feeling rushed. We watched every movie known to man. We would still look up the movies on screenit .com but pretty much, we didn't miss any movies. We even made a movie room out of our extra downstairs room. It was SO ...

Rosie's gone. :(

Well, the dreaded day is here. Rosie has moved to Springdale. We (me, Mar, mom, and dad) helped Hannah and Justin move up there last weekend. Hannah and Rosie ended up driving back with us, though, because Hannah's close friend was having a baby. They left about 2 1/2 hours ago. It was really hard to see them go. Mar and I are beyond attached to our precious little Rosie Love. Mar always says, "She sure does make me feel good". It's because she runs into your arms and shouts for joy when she hears you walk in the house. Today, when I got her up from her nap the first things she said to me was, "Mar's not here". She knew he was at the office. He came to say goodbye at lunch and when he walked in and called her name, she said with so much excitement, "I'm comin'" and came running into Lamar's arms. She's just such a bright spot...such a complete joy. Mom explained to her that she was going to her new house and we had to stay her...
Friday, January 18, 2008 I cannot believe it has been a month since I've updated. Wow! That's probably the longest I have ever gone without journaling. I don't even know what to say now...there's so much to catch up on. Let's see... * Hannah and Justin sold their house and she has to be out by Feb. 15th. Justin has already moved to Bentonville. * I love Rosie Love even more than I did a month ago, which isn't hard to understand...to know her is to love her. * I got Macy's last pre-registration packet in the mail from PA last week and had to fight back tears. How could this be the final year to register her for high school? I know I sound like an old lady but it seems like she was just 2 years old yesterday. Rosie reminds me of Macy when she was that age. * I have a toothache that I started taking antibiotics for today and just realized I have a little relief! YEA! I'm NOT excited about having to go to an endodontist, though. :( * We got 3 new workers at ...
I just wrote a long post with pictures and everything and completely lost it. :( I had an amazing night last night with 2 women annointed by God but I have to do laundry and don't want to spend any more time writing about something I may lose. You know, the lesson here is to write all my entries on Word and then post it. :) More later~!
