"If I perish, I perish". Esther 4:16

Okay, so my sweet niece, Molly is getting married on January 9. She is marrying the sweetest guy who loves the Lord so much. It is the sweetest story. Anyway, Molly came to our small group in our Esther Bible study last week. I noticed she got up and left the room for a few minutes and then came back. I didn't think much of it. Right before Molly got up, we were talking about the verse in Esther about her saying, "If I perish, I perish" and how she was willing to give up her life to obey God. Later on that afternoon, I hear Macy upstairs in her room laughing hysterically. I didn't think much of that, either, because she laughs a lot (which I'm so thankful for). After that, she comes downstairs and starts telling me about what she found so hysterical. When Molly bought Logan's wedding ring, she got to have something engraved on his ring for free...part of the package, I guess. Anyway, she got a call from the jeweler during the Esther Bible study, which...
Whoa, this has been one busy week! I worked for Lamar all week. It has been almost 2 years since I've worked with him. I really enjoy working with him, especially if I'm assisting him and don't have to work at the front (dealing with patient's questions about insurance and bills :s). I tell ya, though, I had no energy at the end of the day. I asked Sabrina how she had any energy at the end of the day to do anything and she said, "You just can't sit down!". HA! :) I tried that the next day and it actually worked!!! :) Me and sweet Sunshine doing the butterfly in the dance room. :) I taught dancing for 2 years to 3 year olds back in the day. It was so much fun. This brought me back to those days. Precious Princess after I painted her nails. Macy with the 2 Charlie's in her life. Both Charlies are GREAT guys!!! I sure do love this guy...he's by my feet as I type this. :) We all went to Roxie's house to watch Molly get her wedding pictures made. ...

I finally caved! :)

How could I not get a Snuggie with the Hogs all over it?!

Marcifest Weekend

We had a super quick Marcifest weekend a couple of weeks ago....Marci and Rick came to town for her best friend, Marley's, 40th surprise birthday party. It was wonderful, as always, to see Marce! :) We made a sign for them to greet them at the airport! :) The fam at church. Sheldy's missing...he was at home worshipping with the NFL. :) Daws is missing, too....he was at work. Mom took us shopping...here's our annual (or actually semi-annual would be more like it) picture in Indigo....LOVE that store! Mom got me the coat I am wearing and the purse. :) Mom and Dad with all 6 kids in Franke's! Macy and her brothers, Asa and Josiah. And the dancing begins. :) Is this not unbelievably precious?!!! Freezing in Marci's room. :) After eating at Izzy's. We LOVED seeing Marci and I have had a ton of people come up to me and tell me they met her. Once you meet Marci, you NEVER forget her! :) She's one of a kind, that's for sure. She's got a ton of energy and lo...
love it that ruffles are back in!!! I remember wearing ruffles back in the 80's. I wish I would have saved my stuff......I'd have vintage ruffles! :) The only thing is that now that they're back in, I'm tempted by so much! I ordered me these cute ruffly shirts today. Can't wait to get them in. I think this shirt is so cute! One thing I love about it is that it's one piece!! I have a thick middle so the less layers the better for me. I ordered this from Chadwicks. I LOVE this shirt...how cute with jeans! Look at those cute ruffles! :) Got this from J.Crew. It's back ordered until Oct. 6th. I also got this shirt from J.Crew. I love it that it's sleeveless. No need to worry about bulkiness when it's worn under things. I also got me some jeans last week when Marci was in town. We always go jean shopping when she's in town. I got me a pair or Miss Me jeans last year and I have LOVED them!! They are so comfortable so I thought I'd try out...

Razorback game

I have been the worst blogger lately! I wrote a LONG entry on our beach vacation last week while Lamar was listening to the LSU game at my parent's house but I never posted it because I have to add pictures and that takes forever. At least I have it saved so I can go back and read it when I want to remember our vacation. Anyway, I know when I used to scrapbook, they would just say to start where you are instead of going back because otherwise it would be too overwhelming, so that's what I'm doing. :) We went to Fayetteville for the Razorback game this weekend. It was so much fun. We ended up staying in furnished apartments that rent out for a night or two. We were so fortunate to find a place to stay!!! Shanny and I went downstairs after half time to meet our sweet friend, Pam, and the Hog just happened to walk by us so of course, we got our picture with him. :) After the game, we met back up with Pam and she gave us cakes she had made for us. She makes the most aweso...
I'm at my mom and dad's house listening to the LSU game on the Internet. Actually, I'm not really listening....Mar is listening and I'm killing time on Facebook and now Blogger. :) I figured I would write a little more about our vacation since I have some time but before I do that, I just have to say that I am SO excited because my sister, Marci (who reminds me SO much of Beth Moore...she has a ton of energy and excitement, is super encouraging and fun, and loves the Lord), is in town until Monday!!! :) I had to keep it a secret for a week because she came in for her best friend's surprise party. :) Also, Macy is coming home tonight to spend the night!!! This is the first time she's been home to spend the night since Aug. 21st so I'm really excited!!! She has come home for a few hours here and there but hasn't spent the night at our house. She did spend the night at Nana's last week but we were at the beach. Anyway, I'm so glad she'll be in ...
