Friday, January 18, 2008 I cannot believe it has been a month since I've updated. Wow! That's probably the longest I have ever gone without journaling. I don't even know what to say now...there's so much to catch up on. Let's see... * Hannah and Justin sold their house and she has to be out by Feb. 15th. Justin has already moved to Bentonville. * I love Rosie Love even more than I did a month ago, which isn't hard to understand...to know her is to love her. * I got Macy's last pre-registration packet in the mail from PA last week and had to fight back tears. How could this be the final year to register her for high school? I know I sound like an old lady but it seems like she was just 2 years old yesterday. Rosie reminds me of Macy when she was that age. * I have a toothache that I started taking antibiotics for today and just realized I have a little relief! YEA! I'm NOT excited about having to go to an endodontist, though. :( * We got 3 new workers at ...
I just wrote a long post with pictures and everything and completely lost it. :( I had an amazing night last night with 2 women annointed by God but I have to do laundry and don't want to spend any more time writing about something I may lose. You know, the lesson here is to write all my entries on Word and then post it. :) More later~!
It's been awhile since I've posted on here. Things have been so busy at the office but fortunately, we have a few new workers so I don't have to be there. I got to stay home this morning and do laundry and clean a little. I never knew how wonderful it would feel to be able to stay home and clean! :) Last night was an amazing night. We went over to mom and dad's to eat dinner. Marie Chapian and Jan Silvious are staying with them right now because they are doing a workshop in Little Rock. I had heard of them but didn't really know much about them. I instantly loved them! What fun Jan Silvious is...so down to earth and funny. Marie is on fire for the Lord! Wow! That lady spoke so many blessings over all of us. It was a truly awesome experience. I was on a high while I was there. We stayed for hours just taking it all in. What an expected gift from God! I came home and looked up Marie and Jan's websites. I didn't realize that Jan spoke at the Women of Faith ...
I love this picture! Macy is so funny with her pet raccoon. This is her with Asa and Josiah before church last week on Halloween. They also went trick or treating for about 30 minutes to get candy. :) Smart kids! We went trick or treating with Rosie and it was wonderful! She was a chicken!!! HA!!! :) She didn't want a princess because it was too itchy. I held her almost the whole time. It was just wonderful! I love that little sunshine so much! My arms were really sore the next day but it was so worth it! After the LSU game Saturday night, Lamar and I were on cloud 9 because little Love insisted on a kiss and hug before she left. It was the first time she has done that. She looked at Lamar and said, "kiss" and kissed and hugged him and then came to me and did the same thing. She had a bad cold and her nose was running but I had to kiss that sweet baby girl anyway. If I get a cold, it's definitely worth it!!! I gotta boogie! Lamar just went to pull a tooth which means...
9-27-07 It's rare that you get the opportunity to paint whatever you want on the living room wall but I've been sampling colors so I got to have a little bit of fun. I got to write a little note to Lamar on the wall. He loved it!!! 10-11-07 I typed that paragraph a couple of weeks ago and forgot about it. We FINALLY painted the whole living room last night after putting it off and putting it off. :) I love it! Next step...painting the trim and mantle white. I'm going to like it so much more when that's done...it's going to be so much brighter! It's a gorgeous day out today! I mean beautiful! The sun is shining and it feels wonderful. We're going to go over to mom and dad's and take pictures of our car to sell. I'm a little sad and also glad at the same time. I LOVE having a convertible and will miss that but I feel like we're not being good stewards of our money having that car when we don't need it. We went to Cannon's football game las...
We are back from the beach.....ahhhhh....what a wonderful vacation! It was so relaxing. We just laid on the beach and didn't worry about a thing. We went to bed when we wanted (which was usually pretty early) and woke up just whenever. I didn't have the computer so I didn't get online all week. We didn't think about work or anything else that may have been stressful. It was just so wonderful! The weather was beautiful. It was so much cooler this time of year....this could have been because of the hurricane that we didn't know about until we were on our way home. :) It was so breezy. It was hard to leave but wonderful to come back and see my family. Rosie ran into my arms which made me feel overjoyed. I found her the perfect present....a purple umbrella with feathers around it. Rosie has been fascinated with umbrellas for a long time. Umbrella was one of her very first words and one of her favorite things to do is go out and look at our porch umbrellas. :) I'm go...
Guess where we're going tomorrow??? THE BEACH!!!! YEA!!! I am so excited! I have been away from the beach for far too long....and we're going to my favorite beach....Orange Beach....and staying in my favorite place... SeaChase . They have been closed down for almost 3 years from hurricane damage. I love Orange Beach because there is an outlet mall 30 minutes away and there is a grocery store right across the street from our condo. Also, the sand is white and it's not real crowded. I cannot wait to see the ocean! When I look at the ocean and see nothing but water for as far as I can see and beautiful waves, I think of God and His power. There is just something about the ocean that makes me feel Him more. I cannot wait! Lynda Elliot's class was this morning. It was so good! I love her classes. This one is on how to become a resilient person......basically, how to bounce back after a crises. She told us to do a blessing journal each night and write down 10 things that we ...
