Rosie playing in the little house we got her for her birthday. -- Post From My iPhone
This month has been so busy and next month is going to be even busier...one senior event after another. I just cannot believe how quickly the years have passed. It really seems like yesterday that I was taking Macy to her first day of kindergarten. I remember on the last day of school on her kindergarten year, I cried because I couldn't believe she was going to be in 1st grade and how her kindergarten year passed so fast and now she's going to COLLEGE!!! Where did the time go? How did it pass so quickly? Senior day at church is going to be May 10th. I have always cried in those thinking that one day Macy would be standing up there. The funny thing is that God has totally prepared me for Macy leaving. Everything changed when Macy turned 16. She had her own car and I was no longer picking her up and taking her places. She came and went as she pleased and I didn't see her near as much. Although I enjoyed not being a taxi anymore, there was a lot I missed, like getting to know ...

My favorite 3 year old

I have updated my status 3 times today on Facebook ! I never do that. I wanted to update it again and then I realized that I just needed to write. I called Rosie Love this morning and asked her what her plans for the day were and she told me that her plans were to come to my house. :) I told her that of course she could come to my house so Mar and I picked her up, took her to Home Depot, and then to Hadoo's house. She said she liked Hadoo's house a lot better than Home Depot. She's so cute!!! We made Rolo brownies and I asked her if she liked making them and she said, "I LOVE it!". We played outside with Charlie Bear and she laughed at him playing with his huge stick that he loves. Then we went outside with Macy while she washed her car. It was so sad, though, because Charlie Bear found some baby bunnies and killed them....they were tiny...only a few days old. I don't think he meant to...they were just so fragile and he probably stepped on them or played wi...
Let's see...I need to catch up. What's been going on? Well, Macy's junior/ring ceremony was last week. We also went to Rayville last weekend. We have tons of softball games, too. There's so much to remember. I try to write everything down on my calendar but still am having problems scheduling 2 things at once. :s Rosie will be 3 years old in a week in a half!!! She is such a sweet little bright spot. I adore her, if you haven't noticed! :) Her birthday party is going to be at my house, her request. :) Makes me happy. I like to ask Rosie who her best friend is because she always says it's me. :) Well, last week, I asked her who her best friend was and she pointed to me and said, "You!!! AND...God and heaven". :) Sweet precious angel! Macy and Pug's ring ceremony. It really does feel like a few weeks ago that we were sitting in the same place watching Macy and Pug get their senior rings and now they were the ones giving the juniors their senior rings...
It's been WAY too long since I've blogged. I haven't even read my blog lists in awhile. Anyway, Macy just got back from 9 days in Colorado and I really wanted to write about something she told me. She said she was in a store and there was a man buying some socks and gloves and he didn't have enough money. She said they were on sale for around $3. Anyway, she went up to him and asked him if she could please buy him those socks and gloves. Can I just say that my cup runneth over?!!! Yes, it runneth over. I am so thankful that I have a daughter who feels for others and loves the Lord and shows it!!! God watched over May May while she was gone in some really neat ways that I'll have to write about later when I have more time...Mar's ready for bed. Macy also got a roommate assigned to her that she has been talking to and really likes...she even plays softball!!! I asked Macy if she wrote on her roommate form that she played softball and May told me she never turned i...
Mar and I have decided to go here for our 10 year anniversary. I am so excited! This is my kind of place. The motto of the island is "Do Nothing". I can't wait to go here and just relax with Mar. They've got hammocks all over the island and I can just imagine lying in a hammock with my love for hours. I just love doing nothing by the ocean more than anything else in the world! I can't wait!!! Only a couple of more months and we're there!!! Speaking of a couple more months...May May graduates on May 22nd! I cannot believe it! Senior Sunday is May 10th. This time next year she will be finishing up her freshman year in college. Hard to believe! I am so glad she'll only be 1 hour away from us!!! :) I think we are switching our phone service to AT&T. If so, Macy's graduation present will be an iPhone. One of the positive things about her not reading my blog is that I can say things like that! :) Anyway, our phones don't work in our house very well ...

Not Me Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head on over here to see what everyone else has NOT been doing this week. I've never done Not Me Monday but I think it's so cute...I'm going to give it a try. I have definitely NOT eaten way too many Hershey eggs and Goldfish in the last hour. I also have NOT gotten absolutely nothing I set out to do today done. I have not been lazy for no reason while the laundry and a beautiful day waits on me. My computer did not die on me last week. I did not go to El Dorado this weekend and watch my daughter do an awesome job catching in softball. Last week, I definitely did not let Rosie eat a rice crispy treat followed by a bag of doughnuts, M&M's, and goldfish! :) I was not 40 minutes late for church yesterday and I definitely didn't sit out in the foyer to watch the end of the sermon....no, not me...everyone knows I would never neglect church for an extra few minutes of sleep. And, last but ...
