This is my second blog post today. I'm trying to catch up.  I have been since the beach. I haven't even written about the beach yet. :s Oh well! Maybe one day I'll get around to it. Here we are (my sisters and I, minus Marci and Sabrina, with our mom) eating at Trio's for my mom's birthday lunch.  Whenever we do our birthday lunches, we all go around the table and tell what we like about the person who is having the birthday.  Well, Rosy was so so cute...she went on and on about the things she liked about Nana.  It was so precious! One of the last things she said was, "I like Nana because Nana likes me!" Adorable! Macy has been working part time at Lamar's office this summer. I have also been working every other Friday so on Fridays, our little family is all there at the office. :) Macy has learned a lot about dentistry and fast. I love this picture.  We went over to mom and dad's on the 4th of July just to hang out. We went outside and were able to see fireworks in the front of the house and the back.  We were sitting outside and Rosy came between Hannah and I and put her arms around both of us. :) I love that baby girl! I was holding Banner in this picture.  You can see his little legs. Oh how I love this little Sunshine!! What a sweet precious girl! Right now, I am talking to Macy, texting, and blogging....too many things at one time.  Macy and I are about to go to the pool and soak up the sun. :) It's HOT outside...there's a heat advisory!!

I got my iPhone 4 last week. I was a little bit reluctant to order one because of all the bad reviews about the antenna and reception. I had the 3G and have really been wanting the video recorder for awhile now.  I went to the AT&T store and they didn't have any iPhone 4's in stock but I got to play with one and loved it. After that, I decided to "bite the bullet" and order one from AT&T.  The website said it would probably take 10-14 days to even ship it but I ordered it on a Thursday afternoon and got it the next Tuesday...only 2 business days. I was impressed.  I immediately synched my phone and have absolutely loved my phone ever since.  I have actually had much better reception with this phone.  The thing I love the most is that it is SO MUCH FASTER!!! I have only had one dropped call since last Tuesday and that was today while going under a bridge on the freeway.  With my other iPhone, calls would be dropped almost every single time ...

Let me just start by saying that I have the best dad in the whole world! I really do! I am so proud to be his daughter! I cannot even begin to tell you how many times different people have come up to me and told me that my dad is the nicest man they have ever met.  People love my dad because he is humble and kind.  He loves the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind, too.  He loves fun and always made sure we had lots of it growing up. We had all kinds of fun things like go carts, unicycles, a ping pong table and a pinball machine, LOTS of animals (gerbils, ducks, geese, birds, and dogs), and he always made sure we went on family vacations.  He made sure we saw Disney World and saw the Colorado mountains and learned to ski.  My mom, of course, contributed to the fun! Is anybody else having trouble updating the latest update for the iPhone? I have tried to update it 3 times and it gets stuck on backup.  I googled it and it seems to be a common problem.  I am planning on getting the iPhone 4 so I'm not too worried about it.  I LOVE the iPhone I have. I have had it for 1 1/2 years and have dropped it so much and there's not even a scratch on it.  This one has been so wonderful that I'm a little nervous to get another one...but I've heard the iPhone 4 is the bomb and I'm eligible for an upgrade, so I'm going to get it!! :) I will LOVE the camera with a flash and 5 megapixels! I will also like being able to put my apps in different folders.  My iPhone doesn't have video on it so I know I'll love that, too! I'm excited! :) Mar and Rosebud playing with Play-Doh. I'm trying to update my blog.  I'm  so behind.  This has been such a busy summer.  It has also been a VERY hot summer!! I don't remember it ever being this hot before.  We have gotten a little bit of a break today and last night from the extreme heat.  I appreciate it more than ever because Calli and I walk every night in this heat. We have to walk at night because it's just too hot to go in the day. I think I'd literally have a heat stroke.  The heat index has been up to 110 on some days.  It's just TOO hot!!! Today is a welcome break from the extreme heat...there's just less humidity and it's only 87 degrees at 6:30 pm and I know the heat index isn't as bad.  There was even a breeze today. :) Friends from junior high school.  Love these girls! I just realized that Blogger got a new format.  I think it's probably been here for awhile but I just noticed.  There's even a spellcheck!! YAY!! :) Well, I turned 39 on May 27th. I can't believe this is my last year in my thirties.  I remember how old I felt when I turned 21! HA! I think I felt younger in my 30's than in my 20's...strange, I know. Anyway, on my actual birthday, we had our sister lunch that we always have.  I chose the Terrace restaurant, which is my favorite!! The chicken terrace is AMAZING!! It has this yummy cream cheese sauce in the middle of it. :) I also made my own birthday cake....red velvet by the Pioneer Woman. I can't make it very much because it's just too tempting...like an alcoholic having alcohol in the house.  I seriously will eat it all day long!!
