Rosie Hadoo, Hadoo Rosie, and Mar Hadoo :)

Oh, how I love this precious angel!!! What a complete blessing she is! I love this picture! It's blurry, I know, but it's hard to get a clear picture with a cute little toddler dancing around! :) Rosie brought me those "pom poms" (in her hair) to me and asked me to put them in her hair. Hannah asked Rosie if she wanted her to buy her some pom poms and Rosie said in the sweetest most cheerful voice, "I already have some...see, in my hair!". After that I was asking her what her whole name was and she said Rosemary. Then I asked her what her middle name was and she said, "Hadoo". I LOVE IT!!! Then I asked her what my middle name was and she said, "Rosie"!!! :) Okay, how sweet is that?! Then, Mar asked her what his middle name was and she said, "Hadoo". So, my day was totally made! Matter of fact, this was a couple of days ago, so I'd pretty much say, my week was made! :) I'm still smiling over it! I took Rosie to see Hannah...
I got this today in an e-mail from Family Life... Moments for You. Yesterday I read the one about pleasing your husband and realized I need to do a lot of those things. When I read the list of 15 ways a husband should please his wife, I realized immediately after reading that Lamar already does every one of these and then some. He not only brushes my hair but he even blow dries it. He made me bacon last night when I was craving it and he made it again for me this morning. He goes out of his way for me all the time and always ask, "Is there anything I can do for you?". Every morning when he goes to the kichen to make his oatmeal, he always asks me without fail, "Can I get you anything from the kitchen?". The answer is always no but he continues to ask every day. He prays with me before bed every single night and every single morning. He also reads the Bible with me every night. There is not one day that goes by that he doesn't tickle my back. He also washes my fe...
Happy Wednesday! I get to have lunch with Mar today. Monday I had lunch with my sweet friends, Calli and Jenni, and yesterday I had lunch with my lifelong friend, Kendra, who always makes me laugh hysterically ! So, no lunch with Mar all week. He was so excited about getting to have lunch with me today...it made me feel so good when he got so excited about it! :) Our lunch date is going to consist of going to the Honda place to get our stinky van detailed and then going to eat at Terri Lynn's...the most delicious barbecue on the planet!!! Our van has some strange smell in it that Hannah and Macy say makes them sick. I never smelled it until I got away from it for about a week and then got back in. I am a big smell person. I LOVE smells and can identify almost any smell if I've smelled it before. This smell smells like an old musty house. Now there are for sure some old houses that don't have an old smell but some do and this is what our van smells like. I got my yummy smel...

Colleges

I have had colleges on the brain lately. I am telling ya, since the day Macy started school in August, it has all been about colleges and graduating. The first week of school May came home and said that I needed to start working on her senior ad. I had no idea it would be due so soon. We've had college night, meetings about colleges and senior trip, and tomorrow is senior lounge day. Next week, Macy will get fitted for her CAP and GOWN!!!! How could this be??? She will also order graduation invitations. Wow! Anyway, these are the 3 options that we're considering right now. Option #1: Ouachita Baptist University. She's already applied here and I'm confident she'll get in. I know this is a great school. My little sister, Hannah, graduated from there. My older sister, Marci, went to Ouachita for a semester. My brother-in-law went there and right now, my niece, Abby is there and loves it! I know for sure that Macy would love this school. One thing I really like about th...
These are the tee-shirts that I designed for Lamar's office to wear at Race for the Cure. I thought they were pretty cute. I used Customink.com and they did a great job and had great customer service. I think we're going to get tees to give away at the office. I'm definitely going to use them again. This is the front. And, the back. This is the sweet note that Lamar surprised me with. Aww...how sweet he is!!! And then, when he got home from work, he had these in his hands!!! And...a yummy smelling candle. Wow...a surprise note, the most gorgeous roses and lilies I've ever seen, and a yummy candle!!! All I did to get all this was snuggle with Lamar in the middle of the night. That's it! Wow! I need to do that more often! My hubby loves me!!! :) Hannah and I went to the mall today. I haven't been in SO long but I found the most comfortable pair of sweats at an American Eagle outlet on sale for $19.99 when we were at the beach. I have worn those pants almost every...
So, this morning I went to Lynda's class. It's always really good. She is such an encourager! I always take away something that is very helpful. One thing that I liked that she said today is that the worst thing in life is to go through something awful and not learn one thing. I thought that was really good. I mean, if you have to go through something really bad, you might as well try and learn something from it. She said that sometimes the worst thing that happens can lead us to the best thing. People in the class gave examples. I thought about everything I went through with Ryan and how horrible it seemed at the time (and it was) but if it wasn't for all of that, I wouldn't be with Lamar today. Last week, Lynda said, "Life makes a lot more sense backwards...too bad we have to live it forwards". That's true, too. If I look back on life, I can see why certain things happened that at the time I had no understanding of whatsoever. It's like tha...

Granny

I woke up this morning and had the sweetest note from my baby on my I-pod speakers. I took a picture, of course, but I haven't uploaded it to my computer yet. I have such an awesome husband and he loves me!!! :) This has been such a busy week. Monday night, Hannah and I had a small group leader's meeting and Tuesday night, we had small group at my house. Yesterday, Lamar and I took Macy to court for her ticket (she got a ticket for failing to yield the day she had her wreck). Did you know if your child is under 18 and gets a ticket, he or she has to go to court?! Anyway, it was kind of interesting...I had to go stand by Macy before a judge. There were lots of kids and parents there...we even saw one kid we knew. :) Anyway, we made Macy pay for her own ticket and she's going to have to pay to go to driving school, too. The judge makes anyone who gets a ticket go to driving school...and that is only if it's the first ticket. The judge seemed super nice. I liked him. You c...

Orange Beach

We had such a great time at the beach. It was so relaxing! Orange Beach is my favorite place to go because we always stay at Seachase and there is a grocery store right across the street, there's an outlet mall close by, and there are a lot of restaurants. We have found that going in September is the best time to go because it's not crowded, it's cooler, and it's cheaper. We spent a week going to bed when we wanted (which was usually early) and getting up when we wanted. We'd spend our mornings and afternoons reading on the beach and then go somewhere for dinner. After that, we'd just come home and spend time together talking or reading. My kind of vacation is just to go and relax, which is what we did. This year, we brought Macy and her friend, Andy, with us. I told them we wouldn't be doing a whole lot other than relaxing but I think they still had fun. We still ended up shopping and eating out quite a bit so I think they were good. :) I really think I cou...
