Happy Thanksgiving Eve

I think this is one of my favorite pictures of all time!!! HA! :) Look at that cute face!!! Lamar and his office staff....they are all so sweet. 3 of my favorite ladies! Marsha and Judy are 2 of my mom's best friends and I truly love these women! They are so much fun! I've known them since I was a little girl (Judy and my mom were pregnant with me and Pipe together). Anyway, they were both in town at the same time. Fun times! HAAAA!!! I love it! Hannah found these pajamas at Target and Macy put them on right away. I, of course, had to take a picture! :) So, I was sick yesterday! I am NEVER sick! I don't quite know what to do with myself when I am sick. I laid in bed all day yesterday. I am so much better today and couldn't wait to get out of the house. :) The first thing I did was take Macy to the dentist. She did better than ever. She only cried a little before the appointment and only once before Lamar gave her a shot. She did GREAT! I am hoping that she's not too...
Okay, so I’m trying Blogger for Word and I hope it works. I wanted to use this cute font on my blog so I’m checking to see if it works. If you want to download cute free fonts to your computer go to http://www.kevinandamanda.com/scrapbook/fonts/ . You can even have your own handwriting made into a font. I think I’m going to try to do that because I think it would be fun to have my journaling look like I wrote it by hand. :) This is such a fun week….I love Thanksgiving week! I don’t know who to cheer for on Friday’s game…LSU or Arkansas. I’m not too thrilled about either one this season. Maybe I’ll wear Red, Purple, and Yellow! :) I’m sure my die hard Hog fan cousins would LOVE that! Macy is in Fayetteville until tomorrow. Miranda bought her a lot of clothes so she’s really excited about that. May has to go to the dentist on Wed. :( She’s doing better than usual, though. She has an extreme phobia of the dentist. She has problems with her teeth, too, so the combination is not a good one....
Whoa, my body is so sore from zumba today! I haven't been on a Monday in awhile and the instructor really gives you a workout!! I love it, though! I sure can tell a difference when I go a couple of days without exercising. I don't sleep as well and I notice I get stressed easier. Mar and I walked the base of Pinnacle on Friday....it was 3.5 miles. It was something different for us to do. The 2 weeks before that we climbed Pinnacle and it was so beautiful...we decided we'd change it up a little last week. :) Who knows what we'll do this Friday. I'm sure we'll find something fun that's exercise, though. I can't believe Thanksgiving is only a week and a half away! I'm so excited! I sure hope my sister, Marci, gets to come down from Nebraska. All of the festivities won't be the same without her and her girls. We're praying it will rain in NE where they can come down. Mar is in the kitchen making beans. He has the best bean recipe with bacon and ...

Turkey Trot 2006

I am looking so forward to Thanksgiving with my family! Every year, it is CRAZY fun!!! First of all, my family is HUGE so there are a ton of people having so much fun! Also, we're ALL pretty loud and outgoing...we all love to have fun!!! I don't think there are any quiet people in the whole family. On Thursday, we eat like crazy. On Friday, we all watch the LSU/Razorback game and then go to our annual Turkey Trot dance! This is my favorite part of the weekend! It's just so much fun! Then, on Saturday, the guys have their annual Granny's Cup golf game while the girls go walk the Big Dam Bridge...we now call this "event" the Granny's Walk...and yes, we even have tee-shirts!!! Here's a video of the first annual Turkey Trot dance....2006. Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing - Photo Books
I'm spending my morning with my sunshine! She's about to be here. We're going to watch Strawberry Shortcake, go get a present for my friend, and stop by to see Mar. I'm excited about our day together. :) Hannah is getting set up for the Holiday House this morning. I am SO excited about it! I look forward to it every year. Sheldon and Sabrina have had a booth for 3 years now and it's always one of my favorites. Hannah is putting some of her shirts in there this year, too. The picture above was taken at the Pumpkin Patch. Since Marci is in Nebraska and her husband is a corn farmer, we decided we'd put our heads in the corn ears and send the picture to Marci saying, "We're missing an ear!". HA! :) Yeah, it's "corny"...no pun intended! :) Anyway, we never thought Rosebud would stick her head in. Shanny and Hannah stuck their heads in the holes and before I could get my head in, Rosie stuck hers in! HA! :) I just love it! She was so ...
I just went and saw the Secret Lives of Bees. I went alone. Sometimes, I go to the movies alone. I actually enjoy it. I feel free to just cry if I want to and cry I did. I cried through the whole thing. Afterwards, I went to see Rosie and she wasn't home. :( Everyone had gone out to eat. I miss her when I don't get to see her everyday. I think she misses me, too. Yesterday, she thought I had come over and when she found out it wasn't me, she cried. :( I'm sure I'll see her tomorrow though. Well, you know how I said Pinnacle was a breeze to climb yesterday after me exercising regularly ....well, today I am so sore! My quads hurt to even touch. I know it's from climbing down the mountain. I guess I don't use those muscles as much as I thought I did. :s Macy wants me to go see the Secret Lives of Bees with her tomorrow! :) She said, "You went ALONE?". I told her I was good with it. I would have taken her with me but she was already seeing High School ...

Fall beauty

We climbed Pinnacle today. Look at the beauty! At the top. How gorgeous! It was also great exercise. I haven't climbed Pinnacle since I started exercising regularly and it was so much easier to climb! Last night, we took Rosie trick-or-treating. She was a cheerleader. Here we are at Mom and Dad's. Hannah has a lot more pictures that I need to get from her. She took her camera around while we were trick-or-treating. I sure do love Rosie Love! She was the cutest thing ever! We took her to one neighborhood that was really flat and has houses close together. She loved it. We went there last year. Then, we took her to our neighborhood, which was packed with people! I have never seen a neighborhood so packed with trick-or- treaters ! One house had a TV playing Frankenstein with chairs set up so people could stop and watch. They also had chili and hot dogs for anyone who wanted them. The house next door to that one had a big haunted house. I had heard our neighborhood went all out for...
